You’re doing everything good btw mcdavid wrist position, is because his custom curve use very low lie (lie 4) even when he changes to his new p92 curve he still ask ccm to make p92 but with lie 4

What are the benefits of doing this exercise?

He uses a lie 4 blade and really long stick so he doesnt have to reach as far to place the puck at the distance you are.

For sure, the stick length, curve and lie will all have an effect. Thanks for the insight David!

I was thinking of that to. Definitely something to explore. Thanks John!

cmon man u know "push" is a t2.0 four letter word 😂😂😂, also the cue roll it out the back will keep you from disrupting the rotation if you cue yourself to push you break up the rythym.

@@johnnyfantastic100 hahaha. I only avoiding pushing when it comes to skating 😀. I think a better cue for the backhand “push” would be a backhand tap. He pretty much just redirects the puck with his backhand.

Awesome, let us know how it goes next time you try it and which cue works best.
