- NHL SUPERSTAR Connor McDavid takes warmups before the Oilers 12/21/23 game vs the New Jersey Devils.
This guy is truly special. He makes everything look effortless. Some of the insane moves he practices during warmups he actually does IN GAME.
One of the most talented players the NHL has ever seen for sure.
I will surely be buying a ticket every time he is in town for the rest of his career.

Edmontonian all my life here. We know how lucky we were to have 99. And now McD? It's heartening to see him appreciated by other hockey fans.
I'm 60yrs old, born, raised and still in Edmonton. So getting to see Wayne do his stuff in the 80's and now McD now😊

This is a good video of Mcdavid being normal. In the game he’s just godly and un real. I wish there were videos of him in game shifts by shifts. That would be cool
I don’t live in an NHL market anymore, but I make a point to see a few Oilers games per year, either in Vegas or Seattle. To me, the warmups are almost better than the game. The players, just taking it easy, show how much incredible skill they have. Thanks for posting this!!!!

The best thing about being a hometown oilers fan is the ability to watch him play live on a consistent basis. Worth the price of admission everytime. Magical player, night in night out.

His blade work is what gives him his advantage, combine that with stick skills, and his awareness/peripheral vision, his hockey IQ is off the charts.

So pretty much every skill you need to be a great hockey player he has to give him the advantage lol
@Cl2olvleY21 there are LOTS of great hockey players, there are only a few with all thr skills to be great, day after day, game after game.
Hard not to have awareness and vision when you don't need to look down cuz the puck is glued to the blade 😅😂
it is the guys with the impeccable edgework that stand out for me. it makes their skating effortless. MacKinnon, Makar, Crosby and Barzal are of the same ilk.

Wait till we get to see Phillip Broberg in the NHL. He's a lot bigger than McDavid, but somehow looks very similar.
So funny in the beginning hes just half ass cruising around probably thinking of did we let the dog out, or where is dinner after the game, then in a blink he turns into superhuman stickhandling and zipping around like he has rockets on his skates ! Man I never get tired of watching his skills, not fair to the league !

Once it became legal, every league, team, player rams it down our throats. It is interested, I think sports gambling is more dangerous than any alcohol or tobacco products can ever be. McDavid just riding the wave of $$$. He wants to ensure nobody with the last name McDavid will ever have to work again.
