    Great toe drag tutorial!
    Definitely a minimum 5 crossovers to escape the defenseman.

    Good video. But, what is the deke? why would a defenseman bite for the puck when he can see the puck carrier is just baiting him? As follow up maybe expand the lesson and add the fake shot, pass, change of direction. Thanks

      You would have to use this tactic by being deceptive in threatening a shot or realizing the D man is playing the puck instead of the body. This is done by keeping your head up before the deke and giving yourself options.

    No disrespect but you do need to drag it back to avoid the poke check at times. This also allows you to feed it through your legs if need be allows you a couple options. Straight across drag I can almost always stop most attempts, but the further back a person can drag it the harder to get to it. :)) just my opinion :))

      I noticed during his run through, he did drag it back a bit. I agree with you, keeping it away as much as possible yet still having control seems key.
