Ok but wont i lose calibration once i install it in my sump and remove the silicone tubes to remove the tap water thats in there? How do i go about keeping it calibrated after putting it in my tank?
do i need to calibrate when all the tube already install to the sump ? or just calibrate using shorter tube , and the result will be the same when changing to the actual length tube to the sump from the doser ?
@@AquaSplendor i did the calibration and test it, this doser accuracy -+2ml when under 5ml , am i right ? but for 5-10ml , the accuracy is -+ 1 ml.. however i calibrate, this doser cant be accurate in low dosage under 5ml
@@craftmeid3520 To be honest im not into super accuracy with doser because living thing demand change so there's no point in my opinion to be super accurate for calcium, mag, alk, i put 43ml every day given or take in my small aquarium. But for other purpose it can be different and accuracy can be important, i keep all my stuff simple, i find it easier to maintain and get healthier ecosystem.
@@AquaSplendor I gess for me I'm old school it's not about the money it's about being 1 with my tank for me I more you add the more trouble can happen stable is key 😎👊thanks for sharing happy reefing

So clever to use the binder clip to hold the tube in place! I will use that idea for other applications too!!
Thank you very detailed it will help me alot❤
Thank you. Very to the point and clear. 👍🏽
If you unplug it for 5 minutes, do you have to reprogram and recalibrate or will it remember all the programming done? Thx for video,
It remember, I actually just did that a few hours ago :)

It should be fine, it could potentially lose it's accuracy over time that why some people re calibrate to be sure
Merci. Respect de MTL bro, t'es sur la page rive-sud reefing ?
Sur Facebook? Surement ouai :)

It's fine, just fil up the tube

@@AquaSplendor i see, i found those pump is made for big dose, if the dosing too small, i think just dilute with RODi , the simplest way
Can this unit dose smaller than 1ml increments? Or is 1ml the lowest amount it can dispense?
I think it's the lowest 🤔, why would like to be lower? I'm curious of the situation
@@AquaSplendor I have a 15 gallon nano aquarium so for instance I dose 2.5 ml of Alkalinity every 3 days. Would be nice to dose at half ML incriments.
@@AquaSplendor You simply dilute the product with RO. Dilute 50% gives you 1/2mm increments
hi, there is air bubble in the dosing tubing, how can i remove or improvise this setup?
Make it run non stop, squeeze the tube, hit it a little bit, usually it goes away
@@AquaSplendor i have done this multiple of times, but after a week or two, the bubbles came back in the line
That means it's not tight plugged
throw that thing in the garbage i had nothing but problems with it
Sorry yo hear that, from my own statistics 15% had troubles with, I'm just lucky, no problems so far, touching wood

What kind of tubing does the pump itself use ?
The default one, can't remember on top of my head, 1/4" ?
