From a former director at Northampton and Lamport railway it brought a tear to my eyes to see her back on the mainline ,well done to all at locomotive services.
YN3 is CSX's latest scheme, found on almost all their locomotives, from big road units like the ES44ACs to smaller switchers like the GP38-2s. YN2 looks completely different to YN3 though

I'm happy to hear all the enthusiasm for the superb peak. She certainly looked amazing.
Fantastic to see 118 back on the mainline after 37 years. Great stuff Ian
Cheers. Had to go and see her back in action, superb sight and sound!
@@StaffsTransport One of the best things to return to the mainline I’ve seen
It's hard to believe HSTs as 'freight traction' , but to see a peak back on the main line....wonderful.
@brianwillson9567 it's all a bit bizarre but nice to see. Cheers
The paint scheme 118 wears looks very similar to CSX's YN3's paint scheme
Rail blue with yellow ends was everywhere in the 1970s. My dad used to say they must have had a cheap deal on the paint.
