There's a good chance that one of the four tiny wires connected to the motor sensor is internally half-broken somewhere back there. It might be really hard to spot, and by the way, the other tiny wires could break soon too. It's a good idea to replace the wire harness with a new or used one, especially if you can't find a brand-new one. If the washer is making jerky movements, it's easier to spot because, in that case, one of the wires is likely completely broken, and you should be able to see it. Additionally, if the washer has been shaking violently but isn't making a grinding noise, you may need to replace the shock absorbers as well.
