HK eateries aren't cheap! It's little cheaper than the US but the portion is smaller and smaller. Do drink HK milk tea or combo of hk milk tea and coffee. You most likely won't get to drink that back home. Do eat the BBQ pork or roasted pork (pork belly park where it's tender) over rice. I'd skip the roasted goose. I don't like the meat and it's pricey. Do eat wonton and/or beef brisket noodle. Do eat the claypot rice. Do eat the Chinese desserts. Check out www.openrice.com/en/hongkong. Their food review website. If you have been to HK before and have the China Visa, high recommend take the train to Shenzhen. Food, service are much better and cheaper than in HK.
That food looks great. I will be trying all of these myself when I visit Hong Kong in the future. I will be visiting to explore as well as do lots of transport videos :).
Dim Sum is so delicious! I had it for the first time when I went to San Francisco last year, and I loved it! Thank you for these tips as I would definitely want to try some in Hong Kong if I get a chance to go there!
He spent half of the video with dim sum. Koi Palace is not in San Francisco. We have three here as they're located in Pleasanton & Milpitas. The one he went to probably in Daly City Near Serramonte Mall.
nice intro. but egg puff is classic honey! it is not new at all! I grew up w/ it, and I am in my 40s ok. :P it is just "NEW" in the western part of the world (rebranding by adding other stuff w/ it). and Koi palace is alright, if you didnt get awesome dim sum in HK, you prob didnt find the right ones. Next time if you are in the bay, venture out to san leandro fusion delight. they are rude, but food is more authentic! temple street is actually used to be famous for their claypot rice, seafood for the varieties and tourists. when you go to hk cafe, do "pineapple" bun w/ a thick slice of butter. egg tart. baked rice. what about wonton noodle? for fancy chinese dinning w/ a view, hutong is great. Just came back from a 2 weeks trip there. winter is def a better time to go! CNY was super fun w/ parade, firework and celebrations!
Yes yes. New to the rest of the world is what I meant to say :). Rude is the best way Dim Sum is meant to be! Wonton noodle is great too! Thanks for the extra tips!
Still in HK? I recommend you guys to cross the border and go to shenzhen. Go try 酸菜鱼 (sour cabbage fish) at 禄鼎记, the durian pizza at 乐凯撒披萨La Cesar Pizzeria, and cheese tea at 喜茶 Hey Tea.
Well yellow productions, one thing you did not know is the hot water is there to sterilise the tea cups bowls and utensils... You don't want to know why
I think Hui lau shan quality was better a few years ago...now it's mainly targeting tourists. I would say go for honeymoon dessert and try the durian dessert.
wayne1965, originality makes the difference. The dim sum in your country suits the local taste. But if you fly to the original country, you’ll be surprise by it’s original taste.. 😊
It better be hot and fresh when it comes to my table! I'd be upset and the restaurant will be hearing from me. You need to try the baked Charsiu Bow. If you ever come to NYC we can go around eating. All the Chefs are from HK. You cannot trick the palate of HK people. We are very particular about our food.
@The Life of Tony Yes, Dim Sum, you go Yum Cha, but Chinese Food is all about taste, texture, & temperature. They come around in those carts to maintain the correct temperature.
Hii Dude You are amazing I went Japan after seeing your vedio it helped me alot. From New Delhi, India🇮🇳 Keep working amazingly and do come to India is am going to provide you free accommodation in New Delhi
Don't forget to pack your own toilet paper. And while you're in there, warning: people smoke in the washrooms. After a while, when you're all tired of fancy dining and greasy Chinese food, just go to Cafe de Coral or Fairwood or any Pho restaurant.

Can you pass the name of all the places and how much you expend?
I love Hong Kong cafes, a mix of Chinese & western style food, so much choice...
Cantonese dim sum and casual food are the best! Even though it gets a bit messy in Hong Kong, it doesn't make it any less interesting
I can’t get enough of HK style French Toast! It is one of the most sinfully good food ever. My favorite is is Mongkok
Mmmmm
My Food Travels
Mongkok is a place located in the busiest area in Kowloon side.
One of the best things about Hong Kong is the food! Great video.

The egg puff/waffle is an old school Hong Kong street dessert and already available when I was a kid in the 80s.
Thanks for recommendation on Hui Lau Shan. Went there while we were in HK last week!
Awesome!
Love the little egg puffs, used to get them on street carts when I was little.
Mmmn

I went to a place called China Live. I thought it was pretty good, but I'm sure the Dim Sum in Hong Kong is likely much better!
Welcome to HK.
He spent half of the video with dim sum. Koi Palace is not in San Francisco. We have three here as they're located in Pleasanton & Milpitas. The one he went to probably in Daly City Near Serramonte Mall.

Amazing video
Did you ignore the clarion call of the chicken paw at the Dim Sum shop? 😃😃
Hah! Yeah.. I passed on the chicken feet.. it took a lot of strength to let that cart go by! :)
2:14 wow

Tim Ho Wan is delicious!
Yellow production are you gonna come over to europe anytime soon??
I think Hui lau shan quality was better a few years ago...now it's mainly targeting tourists. I would say go for honeymoon dessert and try the durian dessert.
Honeymoon desert is a great suggestion!
I'm really enjoying watching the videos Buddy but do we really have to watch you eating?
Yes :)
Shrimp dumpling. Isnt it called 'Hakaw'?
I see. I will survive in Hong Kong when I'm travel there… hahaha yummy stuff… ;-)
This is international now. I don't have to go to H.K/to get this. The plane ticket would buy be a lot of Dim-Sum !!
wayne1965, originality makes the difference. The dim sum in your country suits the local taste. But if you fly to the original country, you’ll be surprise by it’s original taste.. 😊
@@Kudo-179 Thanks Jenn, I'll save my 1000 dollar ticket to a country that don't speak English !!
@@Kudo-179 I am not impressed. I would for sight seeing but not for the food !!
I want to come to America, please help me
Hi. You don't need soysauce for dim sum. Otherwise it is too saulty.
Maybe you don't need soy sauce for Dim Sum.. but *I* need Soy Sauce.. I like salty :)
Yellow Productions
Not healthy to have too salty food. We don’t dip soya sauce when eating shrimp dumpling, Siu Mai
Does facebook, messenger, instagram and whatsapp work in Hong Kong?
Yes
It better be hot and fresh when it comes to my table! I'd be upset and the restaurant will be hearing from me. You need to try the baked Charsiu Bow. If you ever come to NYC we can go around eating. I do like the baked Charaiu Bow from Tim Ho Wan.. good stuff. If I'm in NYC I'll hit you up :)
@The Life of Tony Yes, Dim Sum, you go Yum Cha, but Chinese Food is all about taste, texture, & temperature. They come around in those carts to maintain the correct temperature.

A foodie is someone who really likes food! :)
👍
I love your vlogs but can’t handle your “mmm” when eating my misophonia lol
bakit mo siya gid sex e man sister kayo dalawa ?siya nana sayo?ga work pa ako na time?
Yung kee is going down now. It's definitely not the best roast groose to try in Hong Kong now. Any small restaurant can do better than them.
Jeez, this video makes me hungry.
Then I have succeeded in my mission! :)
@@YellowProductions - You for sure have!
Yo you can tell he likes dim sum.
Indeed!
Ha Gow would be more accurate pronounciation, without the R sound
Thanks for the correction!
sabi niya sa akin e kasal mo daw siya
I thought you were gonna get eaten by that cougar behind you...um i mean leopard!
No San Fran Chinese food is horrible! It's all for tourists, it's no where near NYC Chinese food.
Have you eaten at Koi Palace? When I say "San Francisco" it's really in Daly City near the airport.. definitely not a tourist spot
Insane food ,right ?
bakit kayo na sex

Everything has eggs...haha
