Bill Burr is right tho if White people turned around and did the same culture appropriation argument with "their" creations it would be messy. We should all use each others creations and cultures with love and acceptance.

For whatever reason Elvis is a majority hated villian for doing it and Tiger Woods is majority accepted. Why does it happen this way? I truly don't know. Basketball has the same problem. Luca Doncic was on the newest cover of NBA 2K Videogame just 1 time and I have seen countless articles and tweets about how a "White" man shouldn't be on the cover of a Blk sport. Its also sad that Elvis is thought of that way too. His music wasnt played in a lot of stations because he was too close with the black community. He was booked to do a Texas sporting event and was told to leave his backing singers at home because they were black. He demanded they be given the same respect as himself and that they ride in his open top car on the field with him or he won't do it. He had huge respect from all the black people who knew him. he grew up amongst the black community. He was basically the Eminem of his time.
You can't compare Eminem and Elvis Presley. Not only are their entire story and backgrounds different, but Eminem didn't groom and marry a child.

I have to confess ... I'm 50 and always thought lotion was only for gals until I married this cute little black lady. I also never knew the stereotypes about watermelon and fried chicken (which I love and grow my own melons and I make the best fried chicken). Anyway the first time meeting her family they came for dinner and guess what I served. Yep. I came out so proud with a big platter and as I put it on the table I announced that I made it just for them. And that I had a watermelon in the ice box for after dinner.. How the hell was I supposed to know? It's all good now and we've been married 8 years and it's great.

I'm of Itilian decent and I made dinner for my first black girlfriend and her parents and they wanted authentic Italian food. I made eggplant parmesan and braciole. And about 5min. Before they came I'm putting the unused eggplant in the refrigerator and it has the Italian name on the package and I keep thinking they are going to hate me😂😂. Anyways it went great. We dated for a year and if it wasn't for her getting a ausome job offer across the country we might still be dating.

The joke about not getting mad when black people fly from NY to LA in under 6 hours has nothing to do with private jets or lack of layovers. It's referring to the fact that planes, and thus air travel, were invented by white people. He was arguing with his wife as to why he doesn't think cultural appropriation is a valid reason to cry "racist" basically.
I dated a latina that came from the Bronx. As a white male, it was the first time I found myself as the only white person for multiple blocks. So many people were staring at me.

There's a lot of white people in America who are no threat to black people and there is a lot of black people that are no threat to white people, we as a society must not let the negative influence from other people to control our minds with fear.
I focus on people's character, actions to guide me.
Lastly, I stay away from people who always play the race card.
People like that are always looking for racism to continue feeling like a victim all the time.
If you exclude all the obvious traditional racists (not that many of those left), the liars who hide behind political correctness, and the white supremacists with guilty consciences and a saviour complex (a whooole lot of those, I'm afraid), no one cares.
We must also not dismiss the bad deeds of people just because most are good.

What I find most impressive about his comedy is that he is unafraid to take on race as a topic.
He goes at it full throttle too. Almost as unabashedly as Dave Chappelle.

I grew up in the days of watching George Jefferson and Archie bunker go at it. Freaking hilarious! They were absolute geniuses. People weren’t so offended because people were stronger emotionally back then, I don’t know what’s happened. But every culture has its thing and damn if it isn’t funny. That’s what we should enjoy about each other, And not let it be used as a tool for division. If we were all the same it wouldn’t be no fun at all to live in this world. I grew up in Miami and we have every culture and we are all hilarious in our own way. I love my city for that reason. I’ve had girlfriends of every culture and damn could they rag on a white boy. I loved every minute of it. As far as hand gestures no one beats the cuban girls, holy moly mother of God! On the topic of cultural appropriation, I understand that there are instances where the term applies.
