The main reason to stay more than a week in Panjim is the food.
We gathered a few recommendations by locals and friends and went out to explore the capital of Goa in search of delicious bakes, street food and the most authentic and unique Indo-Portuguese cuisine.
We are a Spanish🇪🇸-Korean🇰🇷 married couple 🤵🏻👰🏻 who quit jobs to travel around the world🌏 , meeting people🤝 learning cultures 🗺, trying foods 🍽 and enjoying this beautiful planet 🌱!

It's crazy how this part of Goa looks so much like Puerto Rico. Cheap and delicious is always the way to our hearts. haha Give us all the other samosas.

@@LifetimeTravelmates Goa has been Portuguese for more than 500 years. The Iberian heritage (Spanish + Portuguese) is most in India here than any other state.
That IPA beer waiter has the coolest demeanor ever! I wouldn't be able to stop ordering beers if I went :D Btw, I like that your trying to identify the flavors in the food your eating, like turmeric, coriander, cummin etc. (doesn't really matter if you're correct or not! It's just fun to imagine what the stuff tastes like)
Yeah, we ended up going many times to that Joseph Bar! The IPA is really good, and yeah, Gundu makes it with style!

Goa is know for best entertainment place in india goan Street food tastes so good the beaches resorts spa are so good and goa is so clean and hygienic because they have inspection for cleanliness and hospitality

But Goa is much more than that! There is life far from the coast. Inner villages are full charm and there is so much culture and art happening that you won't see in the beahc-party circuits...

Next visit to Goa do visit Moreish Cafe in Merces,Goa...you can call and place a order and you will love it....
Goa looks very interesting, and staying somewhere longer because of the food sounds like the perfect reason to us :) Should have taken more note of your warning because after watching this I am super hungry and it is 10:30 pm :D Viva Panjim looked delicious! Gulab Jalum is a sugar overload that one's too much hahahaha.

Yeah, Viva Panjim has a nice outdoor atmosphere and really delicious menu! Not the cheapest though!
Oh! And Gulab Jamun is a sugar hadoken! But feels nice after spicy/salty dishes! ;)

@Kim sung Un Well, tourism is funny. Sometimes the best places in a country remain a bit far from the tours and agencies and don't become as popular as big cities with some wonder, or monument...etc.

Our trip around South India showed us all that "non touristy" side of the country that foreigners don't visit that often, and we loved it. But we still want to visit Agra, Jaipur and many areas in the north and east!

Goan cuisine or Goa itself is heavily inspired by Iberian roots. It's heavy Spanish and Portuguese in its overall culture and cuisine.😀 no wonder when you travel to Goa, the locals there, their favorite football teams are from Latin America, and Spain and Portugal.😍 La Liga is huge fan favorite in Goa, and so are the players who play there.
Interesting, yeah.
