  • In this video Lazze demonstrates how you can use a bead roller to flare tubing.
This was done with simple and inexpensive steel exhaust pipe material.
If you don't have hole flaring dies - why not use this technique, cut the flare from the tube and weld it to your project and really use the versatility of your bead roller!
Trying new things in the bead roller can help you get more out of your machine. This technique can apply to any bead roller.

    Nice vid again, thank you.
Btw bead rollers in my region are used for this mostly to make and fit rain gutters and other thin walled tubes. I thoughd this machine was invented for this purpose originally.

Thank you for the idea. Will it also work for making a flare to the inside of the pipe (creating a lip for welding the bottom piece to it)?

    Quick question Lazze,
If you swap the top and bottom dies can you roll the flare inward ?
    Cheers Eric
