Hi Jose. I am afraid it will not work with 2mm wall thick tube. 16 swg is the maximum thickness, 18 swg in steel. Hola, José. Me temo que no funcionará con un tubo de pared de 2 mm de espesor. 16 swg es el espesor máximo, 18 swg en acero.

I don't know why these tools are so expensive, even the ones from China are like £150. Why has nobody made cheaper alternatives? It's not like it's a complicated tool.
Give it time. 15 years ago, arch flaring tools were over £250 and before that you had to pay someone to come out to flare your arches as the tool wasn't available domestically.. I bought one two years ago for £20 delivered
+Rajesh .T Are you joking, or just incredibly stupid? No, this tool would do absolutely nothing to 3mm steel, beyond stripping the thread of the clamp. 3mm mild steel is too thick and hard to be deformed with a little hand tool like this. You would need something like a 10 tonne press and a set of dies if you wanted to gradually form a bead on a budget.
We use the beaded copper fittings in automotive water lines. the bead keeps the rubber hose lines from slipping off. A stainless steel clamp goes right behind the bead.
its too expensive :( i wonder if the industry will ever make a ~50buck beadroller if i can make one with 20 and have to buy material and tools to make it, why cant/wont make you?

Check out "Jobber Do"
$210 US... Might as well buy a stand alone unit that can do heavy wall tube for that price.
Wow ... totally agree ..... everyone wants to be a millionaire yesterday !
Wow. I am not going to look what the Canadian price is. Great tool though.
It’s only 500 bucks
3 hands lol
At £155 for the standard and £185 for the bead ST tool for a once off job is a bit stiff. Will make my own for much cheaper.
