Great right hand you got there bud, so it seems you're not doing any pull-offs for the first few measures of the solo -- on the initial lick and on the run down right after that. I've been trying to really listen to his isolated track, and I don't hear him doing any pull-offs either. Just wondering if that's something you looked into? Thanks so much
Why is the guitar upside down? I know tab is upside down, which makes it so much easier to figure out, vs the right side up. The way the dots linger and there's 150 dots on the fretboard, and the 800 nps make it so easy to follow. Especially for the player who needs assistance. The lingering dots is, without question, the most annoying and impossible to follow teaching tool I've ever seen. For the dyslexic player, the upside down, opposite to reality display is perfect.
Not really a lesson just some guy who can play fast and wants to feed his ego. Picking Randy's playing apart as if he is in the same league. LOL you don't have near the same vibe he had man. and he wasn't out of tune it was his effect
@AllenVanWert I enjoyed it. A couple things I'll mention - one of the reasons there aren't any good tabs is because people don't realize that he double tracked everything so it sounds like there's extra notes. For the "out of tune" part, I don't remember what timestamp that was at in your video, but I think what was going on was that instead of playing diatonically, he used a blue note there. By the way - what software are you using to get the on screen tabs? Is that something custom you made or is that something I can get? Or do you have a midi pickup?
Great tutorial , for the right hand, do u alternate pick the whole solo or use economy pick for some in between phrases?
you should absolutely do the rest of the solo next time!
I've been trying to get that part for a long long time.
You should use this thing with your lessons every day
Ok. I was worried it's too distracting
Oh this is now for sure my go to video for whenever I want to try and learn how to play this song again.
Have you gotten down? I’m still struggling with the speed and playing it on beat with the other instruments.
You should continue this type of thing on top of your daily workouts.
Will try

Wheres part 2?

Does that guitar software of yours do those notes automaticly as you play?
Yes
Dude you sound like Pauly Shore in Son In Law.
If ben stein played guitar
Allen please flip the guitar over lay to the other side so its oriented the same as your guitar. Thank you!
I thought it would be like looking down at your guitar
@@AllenVanWerta real genius 👌

what gives it the vibe is not playing perfectly on the beat. I'm sure he wa splaying for feel and not trying to be a human metronome.

Chill out, it’s a tutorial. And for the record, this has helped my progress on this solo leaps and bounds.
