I've never tried operating both the MPK mini and ESI Xjam connected to the Seqtrak at the same time. In this video, the melody, chords, and bass parts are pre-recorded onto the sampler tracks, and only the drum part is played in real-time.
Could I request that you try, I am trying to make a dawless set up for street performance and would love to use both keys and drums to make live tracks I also have the seqtrack midi clocked to a boss rc500 for guitar looping
@guymore1825 Hi, live looping with Seqtrak and guitar is cool! As for connecting multiple MIDI controllers to Seqtrak, I conducted an experiment. I connected the MPK mini to Seqtrak via a USB cable, and the ESI Xjam (which has one TRS MIDI out) via a MIDI cable, and I was able to control Seqtrak with both MIDI controllers. The ESI Xjam was powered from the PC, not from Seqtrak. In addition to the above, when I connected a USB hub to Seqtrak and then connected the MPK mini and ESI Xjam to the USB hub using USB cables, only the device that was first connected to the USB hub functioned. This means that when using a USB hub, it seems that I cannot control Seqtrak with multiple MIDI controllers.
have you tried this device through midi and your mpk through usb at the same time so you have drums and keys?
