The perfect finale title: What If The Watcher Intervened?
Would be better if it was. What if...... i intervined yano since its the watcher allways narriting it
@@mysterysshh4365 That is a better title.
But TheWhatif finale? 🙄
Mine is "What If... The Watcher Saved the Multiverse?"
@@mysterysshh4365 The Watcher refers to himself in third person anyway
The Watcher: "Oh no!"
Adam: "Oh Yeah!"
Me yelling very loudly and scaring my wife and dog: "It's Kool-Aid Man!"
Roll Credits
In a way The Watcher did the right thing in not intervening with Demon Strange, otherwise he probably wouldn't be around to help him and Uatu won't a have a dead universe to hide from Ultron
"There are arrows more dangerous than that?"
Yeah, by a lot.
I'll always be frustrated that the MCU gave Hawkeye the shaft by implying the only useful thing his arrows do is explode. He has a huge variety of tricks arrows and what they showed in this episode with the variety of arrows is accurate to the comics. Hopefully his Disney+ show does justice in showing the arrow variety
Hahaha good callback.
Hawkeye’s not useless, he’s AMAZING
Omg ikr so many different arrows
@@haydo-9916 or as Kevin Smith called 'The Misfit Avenger'
"You cannot compute the power of my will."
-Uatu the Watcher
That is my new favourite line from the watcher.
I was speechless this entire episode. Watching Uatu and Ultron fighting had me on the edge of my seat!!!! And the fact we got to see where the Watcher resides and how Ultron was able to get in there. And then seeing Strange Supreme at the end...OMG. I am still reeling from that.
Great reaction guys as always.
You read any _Fantastic Four,_ you realize, Uatu is a true Cosmic-level power of the Universe. He just nerfs himself all the time because of his oath.
Technically, "Loki" established that the stones don't work IN THE TVA dimension, because it's outside of the multiverse itself, not that they only work on their own universes - usually that would be true considering universes don't intermingle. But Endgame itself makes the point they DO work on other universes, when it shows that as soon as they change anything on any timeline it becomes its own, separate timeline, so the stones they used to defeat Thanos were already from different universes. There's no contradiction there, at least as far as the MCU is concerned.
I think the thing about the stones not working in other universes is from the comics and up until Endgame and later, people weren't sure whether that would carry over or not. Clearly they do work in other universes
@@ericlopez5218 i think the reasoning behind it is all universes have the same starting point the same nexus beginning of the universe and each new universe is just a branch of the initial big bang so the stones would work in all universes since they were also created from the very beginning
@@deathking1019 it's like trying to use the stones on other fictional universes it wont work there
But that's dumb then, then someone could easily take those stones out of the TVA and use them... Ruins the whole in a drawer/paper weight thing.
@@Nekotaku_TV infinite kangs would like to see someone try that 😂
They finally gave us a terrifying Ultron, and I loved it. They've really embraced the opportunity to show us exactly why the highlighted characters are a problem.
It makes me hopeful the live action movies will be just as fantastic going forward. Fully leaning into comic absurdity, especially in powers
A lot of potential live-action Marvel villains for the future will hopefully be as embraced as Ultron was in this show, I am really hoping they utilise the absurdity of the comics in the films especially for potential villains like: Galactus, The Celestial's, Annihilus, Magneto, Kang the Conqueror, and finally Doctor Victor Von Doom (my personal favourite Marvel villain) and other villains...
@@milkiassamuel780 If you've seen Shang-Chi, you'd have seen that we got Razor Fist, Death Dealer, various Chinese mythology creatures, and TWO freaking Dragons. The movies have indeed welcomed embracing the absurd.
Brings a whole new meaning when Thanos told Tony Stark he wasn't the only cursed with knowledge. Tony's knowledge will always be the death of him. Dr strange knew it as well. That's why he knew Tony's sacrifice was the only way.
Carol was presumed dead in 1989 and she came back to Earth in 1995. So she never saw T2. When she said the movie didn't need a sequel she was talking about the original Terminator.
I love when Adam was still making jokes but too sad to do them with any comedic timing
“Such a poser…”
“Thanks 3PO…”

When i watched Thanos get split in 2 i literally said to myself “i can’t wait to see Adams and Jays reaction to this”
My jaw dropped when I saw that 😂
ME TOO
Could never happen if he had five infinity stones..
@@helpmefixthis9117 no shit, Ultron cut cut him with the mind stone, and then you can’t unwind time with the time stone when your dead
If Vision had done that while getting choked by Thanos in Infinity War it would have changed the tone of the movie quite a bit
The MCU universe got lucky to just have to fight Thanos. Infinity Ultron is scary.
When we were still watching Cival War, Marvel has been planning all this out. The next 10 years are going to be phenomenal.
Somehow I really really doubt that
Yeah thats a lie but you know what ill go along with it anyway
Easily my favorite episode! My jaw was on the floor for the entire last half of the episode 😵🤯
easily not the best episode.. But a welcome addition to the collection
@@Pinkielover easily my favourite
@@Tristan_eCola easily not the best , the next one is
@@helpmefixthis9117 the next one isn’t out yet. Thus I can’t agree or disagree with that statement
@@helpmefixthis9117 well after seeing ep 9 I now can say I disagree. It was good but ep 8 was definitely a lot better
Thanos became perfectly balanced
I never thought Uatu bringing Strange Supreme out of his tiny crystal prison reality would be how he ended up escaping his reality. This finale is going to be incredible.
The looks on your faces when Ultron killed Thanos and Adam looking at his imaginary watch kills me! XD
Finally we get a Clint and Nat focused story. It's awesome to see their friendship and the parallels between Endgame.
This was definitely my favorite episode and I cannot wait for the multiversal Avengers next week!
Now that they can have multiple sets of infinity stones working in any universe , just go get more
Adam: *EXCUSE ME*
Jay: *HELLO*
Adam: *DO YOU HAVE A MOMENT TO TALK ABOUT YOUR CAR INSURANCE*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OMG YESS
That dreadful feeling of having to wait an entire week for a new episode has returned!!!😫
This episode was absolutely insane. Enjoy your reactions as always gentlemen
I LOVED the sound design in this one. Also, the "Kirby Dots" were seriously cool. I was also thinking "Superboy punched a wall." during that one scene.
Imagine walking up, "I about to punch the universe out of you."
The Infinity Stones in the TVA are from pruned timelines / universes. So their power is pretty much a light show. Ultron's is powerful, because the time line he's on and the ones he crashes through, are still going, because the TVA isn't regulating anymore..
Plus it's a fun episode.
I was expecting you to make a comment about Thanos being perfectly balanced, as all things should be, but saying that Ultron did the job in half the time was a perfectly witty comment also!
The Watcher “ you break up with me, I’ll stal.. I mean watch you in every universe”
I think it's a really cool detail that Ultron tried to blast the Watcher with the Time and Reality stones specifically, after the Power one didn't work. Because logically, that'd be what you'd assume would affect a multiversal being, right?
IMO, the tricky thing about "Infinity Stones not working in other universes" is that if this truly is an infinite multiverse of infinite possibilities, then there should be an infinite number of universes where this rule isn't the case. That's how What-Ifs work.
Multiverse Avengers
- Captain Carter
- Star-Lord T'Challa
- Sorcerer Armani
- Party Thor
- Party Pooper Captain Marvel
- The Watcher
Would be a fun episode for the finale.
Nick Fury from episode 3?

@@thebarbarianninja4152 here is the thing though, why party thor? Why not a thor with storm breaker?
Don’t think they actually said that the stones didn’t work in other universes. People took it that way. In Loki they didn’t work in the TVA.
For me it was him randomly going to another timeline in the previous episode. Expanding on it here makes more sense.
It is established in the comics that the stones cannot work in a universe outside the one in which they originated. I have my own particular theory about a way of getting around that so I'm hoping that they touch on whether or not that restriction applies and why or why not.
@@VanArchon so… in the comics… Yeah, comics are a different place from the movies. And they got around it by not addressing it and letting fly.
@@jinxie712 These universes are also different versions of the MCU universe from character designs, events etc. They don’t split of from the comic universe of Earth 616 or the Ultimate universe like Into the Spiderverse which featured the ultimate universe as its main setting Miles universe along with Peter B Parker from Earth-616 so I see no reason why the MCU can’t have different rules regarding the Infinity stones.
@@CaptainAmercia yes
@@jinxie712 I can just imagine how confused and shocked can be with both the comic and movie versions of the characters react with their infinity stones/gems contradict their respected rules of the stones. Where the mcu or mcu-adjacent stones don’t have the rules of the comic version and it would have everyone else freaking out and question the laws of their universe or multiverse. Like with comic 616 thanos just straight up drops his jaw when seeing different gems from other universes working, with him remember how his own and how other infinity gems can’t function out of their own universe and then he just absolutely loses it. I mean just goes gorilla looney toons crazy mad to where even his own title becomes a understatement. Where he’ll forever curses the multiverse.
Ultron killing Thanos just make me think how simple the Infinity War could have been...
It's so dumb.
@@Nekotaku_TV It only worked because Ultron had no hesitation about murdering someone he'd never ever seen before.
@@senhowler Yah, he took *2 seconds.* He didn't pose, he didn't monolog. He decided--and _he acted._ If he'd hesitated, Thanos quite probably could have beat _him._ It was literally a super-powered fast-draw showdown...
@@dphalanx7465 kinda like a samurai duel, whoever draws the sword first wins.
"You cannot compute the power of my will" and then he gets his ass beat lol
I would have liked to have had Spader back as Ultron for this, Ross Marquand did a good job, but I think Spader would have given us a more snarky delivery of some of Ultron's lines, and possibly a few bars of "I got no strings." Still, I can't wait for the finale.
PS: It was great to see Natasha with Red Guardian's shield, nice call back to her "father."
When I saw his name in the opening I was totally expecting to see Red Skull. Only when the episode ended without him, did I put it together her was Ultron lol
Jay & Adam: Um, stop narrating Watcher! He can hear you!
😂🤣🤣😂
The whole "the stones shouldn't work thing" was already invalid after Endgame. In the comics the stones can't destroy themselves but Thanos does exactly that, so the MCU stones obviously have different rules, and What If is clearly set in alternate MCU universes.
Adam: "No fall damage in this episode!"
Hawkeye: "Hold my beer."
Adam, your pilot impression at the end cracked me up, but the helpless little shrug just killed me. 😂😂
If I learned anything from Loki, it's that if you don't want to be found go hide in an apocalypse.
I've always thought Age of Ultron was better than Avengers 1 but this episode retroactively makes it a whole lot better
I DIED at y’all’s faces when Thanos was killed!!!!
👁👄👁 … 🙀
😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣
Even if the stones only work in their respective universe, notice when the watchers home flashes green. It’s possible that’s the moment the nexus event happened from Sylvie killing Kang. The sacred timeline is no more and the multiverse is connected. It’d make sense that the stones would work now that the timelines have branched.
When I finished the ep I was like oh I can’t wait for jay and Adam reaction
My nephew said the exact same thing about the Infinity Stones, and I told him one thing that stopped him in his tracks. Between the events of WandaVision and Loki; the Universe as we know it is broken. Things no longer work as they should, and all of time and space is up for grabs
BTW, regarding the TVA Infinity Stones: I don't think it's being removed from their universe that depowered the Infinity Stones in the TVA. I think that when the TVA reset the divergent timelines, the Stones taken by the TVA were replaced by new instances of the same stone on the 'repaired' Sacred Timeline, and all the power of that Stone remained in the version that was on the Sacred Timeline, leaving the ones in the TVA as powerless duplicates.
The universe that Ultron's Stones came from still exists and his Stones are the only instances of the Six Infinity Stones from that universe, so he can still draw on all their powers.
Definitely the best episode so far and definitely one of the better stories they've shown. The fight between Ultron and Uatu was just amazing and finally, we have a cliffhanger that didn't annoy [looking at you Killmonger episode]
I am still of a belief that one story per episode is a grave mistake. In the case of this episode, if a condensed version of the story was this dope, how cool would've been to see an expanded version of it? With proper fall of the world, with a proper portrayal of how Ultron took the stones from Thanos, more dope fights between InfinityUltron and the Watcher? Like this story alone could be its own miniseries, for example, six thirty-minute episodes. Three hours of just pure goodness. Oh well.
Also, you can say a lot of things about MCU's Ultron, but damn Spader did a phenomenal job portraying him to the point where the lack of his voice in this episode was truly felt. The new actor did a serviceable job but it just wasn't it.
How to tell when Jay is sick of your shit.
Jay: Okay, let’s start to land this plane now.
This episode was jaw-droppingly good! My jaw is still stuck on the floor. 😂
Mine too ☺️
Since I literally flew on a plane today, I can tell you, Adam, that you nailed it. Word for word. 😂
Me: "I already subscribed... I ALREADY SUBSCRIBED!"
Jay: *raises Captain America shield over his head JohnWalker-style*
🤣🤣🤣🤣 also, thanks for being subscribed 🙂
If u didn't notice it the outfit the watcher switches into is that of Aaron the rogue watcher who fought the fantastic four.
I like how they kept the presence of Cumberbatch (Strange) from the initial list of voice actors, and added a "also starring" as the first post-credit.
I Love You Guys!
Everybody else said the "Cloak of Invisibility". Y'all bust out with the "Rivendale Cloaks"! 😃
Working from home. Finally just punched out for lunch and checked my feed... Saw this and, alone in my apartment, exclaimed: Yay peaches!
I have watched loads of the reactions to this episode and you were the only ones to do the “OH NO “ and you said “OH YER” which I thought of ever time I saw it. Thank you made me laugh so much 😂😂
7:59 when The Watcher gasped, felt that... I felt so comfy it's as if I'm watching different realities with him until Ultron sees us lol 😆
For the TVA argument, I look at it as since The Watcher is technically in the Timeline that was shown in Loki to watch these Multiverses, the Infinity Stones can work. Once they break free out of Timelines, off that branch shown in Loki, the Infinity Stones will stop working.
Doctor Strange Supreme was so pleased when the Watcher asked for his help. I love this show so much. Loved your reaction.
Given how he felt at the end of his own episode, I thought he would be a lot more humble. I guess schadenfreude is a hell of a drug...
you both reactions are probably the best ones of this episode! you guys are amazing
There was a brief moment when I saw Ultron get bodied by a ball of blue energy on Xandar, before they revealed that it was Captain Marvel, that I thought “oh shit, is this them introducing Nova?” I was kinda really excited for it to be him haha maybe someday
“What if… we stay until the credits finished rolling?”
Funny title for the next episode but somehow accurate… especially it seems to be the setup for Multiverse of Madness.
Everything Marvel does is gold. Seriously, I didn't expect much from this series and it has turned into something fantastic.
It's a little disconcerting that Ultron has the exact same fashion sense as Vision before he gets the Infinity Stones. In the movie, Vision came out of the Cradle "naked" and only simulated clothes after seeing other people wearing them. He specifically looked at Thor before adding the cape, who played a role in creating him, which isn't the case with Ultron.
Whoa! What an episode! Loved your reactions!
I have to admit I was kind of hoping for the solution to resolve itself by Watcher responding to Ultron’s mocking of his oath by replying “You have forgotten to ask the most important question, if I am this powerful, who did I swear an oath to?” Introduce an aspect of the Eternals to the MCU by having Fulcrum arrive.
Amazing episode. The finale is going to be insane.
*Vision/Ultron BURSTS THROUGH MULTIVERSE*

or a nightmare! haha. "Here, set up these assets for 16 frames of screen time :p "
I couldnt help thinking "Wow! Ultron is punching the Ratchet and Clank out of him!"
I love how Ultron is able to basically use the stones more effectively because of his superior intelligence and finding loopholes in them.
I've been waiting all day for your reactions. It makes my day. Thank you
I loved both your reactions to the end scene. So great
