Hemsworth obviously had an absolute blast doing the voice work for this.

Hemsworth seems like the kind of person who has a blast doing everything. He was going to stop being Thor because the character was so dull. As soon as the character turns into kind of an idiot he's doing a 4th film and voicing animation. As long as he's having a good time he'd probably do just about anything. He's the Australian Ryan Reynolds.

It would have been cool if they'd made that the end credits scene, and had it cut to live action as she appeared in our universe in front of our Clint
Clint's wife and daughters are still alive, meaning that Natasha still has an anchor point.

The final speech of the watcher was literally a declaration that he will appear in the live-action version once the multiverse-wars with Kang are at its peak. Question is if he will bring "his friend" Super-Strange with him.
Or not just one friend what if he bring all the member of Guardians of the Multivese too?
Kang is a small threat, he isn't the big bad the MCU is now leading towards. Based on the upcoming Phase 5 movies they are slowly building towards Secret Wars.
For the record, Kang was involved in Secret Wars.

@@styletyany7124 I don't know much about the comics but from what I've seen it could be Galactus and/or Dr. Doom but considering we haven't seen much of Kang yet, that's probably gonna be years down the line

The season was supposed to be ten episodes long. One wasn't completed in time and was moved to the second season. It was most likely the Gamora episode.
Maybe they'll stick it into next Season--no harm no foul.

I read the animation house working on that Gamora episode was hit by COVID and shut down, so they couldn't finish it in time and the episode was pushed to Season 2.
Loved that DM Uatu asked his level 20 sorcerer friend to setup a pub to put his players in for the quest and lore drop
I thought one of the best moments was Strange Supreme's "...what are friends for..." which he said in a NOT AT ALL sinister way.

For the voice acting, Hemsworth, Atwell and Boseman are the MVPs, but in the characters, Strange Supreme slayed it!
Realized that Strange Supreme is not fully evil, just being hungry of power due to the lost of his heart, also known as Episode 4.
During Strange's "pep talk" all I could think was "Who let William Shatner in here?"
Steve going into Cryo while in the armor like the damn Master Chief is a concept I both demand an explanation about and and am totally here for at the same time.
an idea i was thinking out is what if steve’s continued use of the space stone in the hydra stomper it’s radiation extended his life enhancing him a bit over the years
most likely Hydra froze him just like they did to Bucky

I have never commented on or even talked about anyone's voice acting before but while they are good Benedict Cumberbatch playing two of the same characters is amazing to the point I don't even think of it as a cartoon and voice acting it seems real
Strange is going to need all that spare time to heal his back from carrying the whole team. Also, I don't fully trust him with guarding that pocket dimension. It's going to break whether intentionally or not, because it seems that he's starting to lose control of all those monsters he consumed.
He isn't losing control of them now. It only happened once when he created a paradox.
Apparently, the Gamora/Iron Man episode was moved to Season 2 due to Covid. This episode was the final performance of Chadwick Boseman for "What If...".

If you guys liked captain Carter that much maybe you should have a series where you watch the Agent Carter show. It’s bassically more of the goodness shown in What If even though she doesn’t have the powers.
They are actually part of the small group of people who did watch it
They did watch it, they didn’t react to it, but they have watched it all. They mention it in the what if Peggy becomes captain
I saw the beginning of this and thought you were going with, “If you like Captain Carter that much, maybe you should marry her,” and honestly I don’t think either of the guys would require much convincing.

I was kinda iffy on trusting Strange but man legit nuked his universe. Must've been the ultimate reality check, doesn't help he still has all the beings inside him but he's mostly himself, mostly.
Mostly himself in mind, but the guy is clearly no longer human or mortal after absorbing all those creatures
I wonder if absorbing the "good" Dr strange helped him a little in the human department.
And just in case, they have a nice trio of memorable villains tucked away in a "break in case of emergency" bubble.
Yes I think that's what humbled him. All the power in the universe and yet it wasn't enough. Major reality check.
So there's a pocket dimension in the MCU where they can park bad guys and take them out whenever they need them.
And Supreme Strange guards them good luck getting out

This finale was one of the coolest things I've seen in the MCU bar NONE. also, could be totally wrong, but I have a sneaky suspicion the Strange in No Way Home isn't "our" Strange.
I thought it might be strange supreme but seems pretty clear he wouldn't do what was in that trailer.
@@ironrocker100 I don't think that's clear at all. The way he says "what are friends for" at the end of this episode had a very sinister undertone to it. He's not as redeemed as he wants us to believe

@@ironrocker100 I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens? I'm totally fine being wrong, it's just a theory that I think might be possible. I def think he has a great chance of popping up in Doctor Strange 2 though. Multiverse of Madness is literally a perfect movie for him to pop up in. And I would love to see Strange Supreme in live action

I actually think about this way too much. But a Deadpool What if...? Should be live action. And I been rewatching community, the best show ever. Which was mostly directed by the Russo brothers. And I may be a little tipsy, but I want a version of Deadpool written by Dan Harmon, directed by the Russo brothers, and played by jack black
Season 2 has Tony and Gamora. We'll learn how Valkyrie fits into the story. I know you're wondering "Valkyrie?" right now. Lego released a Sakaaran Iron Man set with 3 minifigures: Tony Stark, Valkyrie and the Watcher on August 1, 2021. I believe that the set was designed before the episode was moved to season 2. It's on Amazon for 34.99 USD.
The episode seems to be What If Ironman didn't fall back to Earth from The Avengers. He might have drifted and got saved and eventually sent to Sakaar

The "hot damn" was amazing lmaooo great season 1 finale.
So the watcher couldn't intervene again because their fight was quite literally destroying realities, hence why Supreme Strange was brought in. He has no limits to what he can do unlike the watcher who, while powerful (arguably one of the most powerful beings to exist), has been limited by Living Tribunal because his fight shook the very foundation of the multi-verse.

Jay keeps saying he's going to put his soul in a crystal and put it in Adam's body. However...Jay is starting to really pick up on Adam's traits. Adam may be up to something.

This episode was awesome! Thor was the live of the party and Strange was literally the whole reason they didn’t die immediately. I really hope the Watcher appears in live action. It hinted at that at the end. I also hope we get that Gamora storyline next season.
my take on this is, we already kno he broke his oath at the end of the last episode,
this episode was more or less showing what that means
he breaks his oath to interfere by doing the exact scenario his omniscient brain can concoct. because even with ultron being aas elevated as he was, the watcher could still see beyond ultron's grasp.
he strugled before not because he couldnt do anything, its that he was struggling finding a solution that would keep his oath
so now we are given a glimpse of just how powerfull the watcher's mind and sight truly is.

I just thought I saw a lot of similarities to Super Bowl Showdown though of course showdown also has a lot of similarities with the movie End Game. The “You have been choose line” coming from Watcher also came from the Oscar and the arrow scene with her tilting Ultron’s heads back reminds me of the final battle scene in showdown too.
I need to see more of the Guardians of the Multiverse! I’m still gonna mis Chadwick Boseman like crazy (Rest In Power) but I still hope they bring back Star-Lord T’Challa with a new voice actor. And I absolutely NEED to see more of Captain Carter.
They couldn’t kill Tony again this episode so they did the next best thing and promoted his killer.

This is how I see it:
Outside of the multiverse the stones don't work like in the TVA.
Each universes' stones are unique to that universe. Within they're own universe they behave like we know them to but outside of their universe they still have great power but are slightly limited.
What an ending, they didn't even need to crossover any episodes or get the watcher involved but I am SO happy they did.

They’ve confirmed Gamoras episode will be in season 2. It was supposed to be the first episode of season 1, but cause of COVID they had to take it out. But they have toys out with characters from that episode
this made me miss the Agent Carter show. I'm still salty about them cancelling that! hot damn, you guys make me laugh so much.
I would expect Captain Carter to continue in Season 2 since that mid-credits scene was something of a cliffhanger, but doubt that T'Challa Star-lord will continue without Chadwick Boseman. I suspect Season 2 will deal with the Watcher suffering the consequences of breaking his oath. Maybe he will even go on trial for it?
I bet "What if the Watcher went on Trial" or something similar will be next season's finale.

Interesting thought. Black Window was dropped off the murderverse's version of Avengers, but she's lived though that, and everything up to Age of Ultron. She knows Hydra is hiding in Shield, which means now Nick knows. That's going to make there version of Winter Soldier going very differently.

Tony Stark on Sakaar got delayed until next season but there is a Lego set for it.
Wonder what the exact reasons were, it got delayed pretty late on didn't it? Maybe needing to change the story itself a bunch cause it relates to one of the movies coming out, who knows
