I think people tend to forget a few key points in the original timeline. Vision, was already weak after one of Thano's minions stabbed his stone. And he was in the middle of surgery when he was attacked again. And was stabbed as well by Thano's minion again. His stone was loose, he was wounded, and was essentially dead weight at that point. This version of vision, combined with Ultron, is at his peak power. No stab wound, no surgery, no emotional attachments that make him vulnerable. A pure, cold blooded, murdering machine.

I mean, if Thor's new weapon could break through Thano's stone blast, I am postive that Vision's beam blast could've done the same, if not quicker.
I still have a hard time about that scene. I know they wanted to get the plot going and the animation budget isn't much but got damn, at least make Thanos do something. Like shoot a Power stone blast at Ultron but then Ultron overpowers the blast and kills Thanos.

I was expecting the Living Tribunal to appear since only he is more powerful than the gauntlet if you discount Eternity not always being a punching bag due to him reversing the effects of the infinity gauntlet when the Golden Surfer wielded it but warlock strange would do. Edit: Also, the Living Tribunal only appears when the multiverse is in trouble. So it's really weird how he did not just show up instantly as soon or after Ultron defeats the Watcher
I actually gasped when I saw the invisibility cloak (0:56) because it actually exists already. In Agents of Shield, they use the same tech in season 2 episode 9. It's an umbrella that drops a curtain and makes the area inside invisible. Even if Agents of Shield isn't technically MCU canon I still thought it was a cool easter egg/nod. So the tech isn't completely out of the blue.

No he isn't, he's one of the council of Watchers. They're above Eternals and on par with the the celestials(their rivals in the comics). Celestials created the Eternals and Deviants so there's that too.

In the comics, Thanos defeats the Watcher and every single celestial with the infinity gauntlet, so Ultron winning against the watcher actually makes sense. I was expecting the Living Tribunal to appear since only he is more powerful than the gauntlet if you discount Eternity not always being a punching bag due to him reversing the effects of the infinity gauntlet when the Golden Surfer wielded it but warlock strange would do.
Edit: Also, the Living Tribunal only appears when the multiverse is in trouble. So it's really weird how he did not just show up instantly as soon or after Ultron defeats the Watcher

I actually gasped when I saw the invisibility cloak (0:56) because it actually exists already. In Agents of Shield, they use the same tech in season 2 episode 9. It's an umbrella that drops a curtain and makes the area inside invisible. Even if Agents of Shield isn't technically MCU canon I still thought it was a cool easter egg/nod. So the tech isn't completely out of the blue.
