  • Diagonal tubes, Chinese Vertical, Lincoln 350 pro gun K126 for FluxCore, I am very impressed with this gun, I had it for 2 years now, And it's never let me Down, I can flip the handle in any direction and it doesn't break down at the Weakest point where the Liner meets the trigger handle, The normal K126 Classic, Always broke down at that point, With the long gooseneck you're unstoppable, Lincoln wire Feeder products are the best!

    I really wished there were more videos of diagonal brace welding like this and with 7018 rod.

      I just was on a job running 7018 on diagonal X bracing! I was running plain stringers on the root pass and then a slight weave as a cover pass. Came out nice and great penetration.

      @adamkorekach9936 hell yeah. I was out at the airport in Denver last year running 7018 on galvanized braces for outside stairways half the summer. Lol I can do it, it's just sometimes after a long break from doing it I kind of forget my technique and kind of have to settle back into it.

    Hi how are you.Can I ask yo a question on the ln 25 feeder.. I have flx core wire in it 1.6mm .The wire keeps burning back on me and sticking to the tip when I use it? I was wondering if you ever had that issue? and how would I fix it? It is very annoying and wastes a lot of wire on me.

    • @jetweldingllc4691

      Martin, nice to hear from you, Check your drive wheels, Clean the teeth, blow the liner out, turn your tension up, Change your contact tip, And start welding, If it happens again, Me, I think it's a trigger, At the end of the gun you start wearing it out from bending it, Sometimes the trigger just takes a shit, I always have a spare gun, 1st thing I do is replace the trigger,, But to me if everything is in good working condition, Your tension, With the drive wheels you're getting slippage, Check it out, Have a good day

      I got the problem fixed.No matter what I did the wire kept burning back on the tip.So I looked at the roll of wire and it was a bit bent out of shape and it was sticking on side of the feeder as it spun around so I lay the feeder on its side with the door facing down and it seems to work with no problems.I think the trigger is faulty on the k126.Does the trigger go out on them much? Its a new gun hasn't done alot.

      Martin, How are you doing brother, The K126 pro has Trigger wiring inside, And the K126( classic ) as I call it, The trigger cord is on the outside, From bending it, right below, The trigger, And the handle meets,, I always take the guard that protects the trigger, And your hands, a lot of splatter, Gets inside where's the trigger the trigger housing . Especially when you're doing vertical, overhead and horizontal, I'm actually using a profax knock off Right now, It's holding up pretty good, I'm starting to get like a crack where the lead and the handle of the gun Meet,You take care of yourself, Have a great day!

    Question for ya, in structural there’s little to no material prep?

    • @jetweldingllc4691
      @jetweldingllc4691  4 года назад +4

      Greg, Great question, No not really some rust, Mill scale from the columns, Sometimes you have to re bevel with the torch, The Steel fabricator messes up on the Bevels, For the full Pen connections, That's pretty much it , little grinding here get rid of some Paint, The prep Is basically setting the steel clamping it like Bent plate, Getting your in-and-out and start welding, And the prep work for plumb up, Always have tight iron, That's pretty much all your prep work, You gotta know how to air arc, And great torch skills, Thanks for your comment! Have a great weekend

    Absolutely awful…look at the porosity in that weld, how on earth are you passing inspection or just fellow welders seeing that?
    Apparently you don’t know what porosity is, so here is the definition:
    “porosity in welding is a weak, bubble-filled weld that does not meet code and more importantly can in some cases, cause part of a project to become weak and collapse. If you find that your weld has this impurity it must be redone immediately.”

      Channel, But the erector supplied the wire, I only use lincoln product, NR233. You could say what you want to say about them. Early videos and there's no fucking parocity in that weld dude, II run into you people. Not so much but you caught me on a good day, You should post your own f****** videos. And let's see what you have accomplished in your f****** career., And the Welding g inspecter mike leeb, One of the best around had no problems with my Welds, I have nothing to hide my friendi just tell it like it is, Cause i'm living proof to me you ain't fucking shit, So come out to Philly. Look up the 401 I love to meet you. And see if you can hang with us, Enjoy your evening,!
