Fair review IMO. None of it is a deal breaker if you're still enjoying it and don't mind sinking the time.
A 7 out of 10 is saying that Starfield is worse than more than half of the releases this year as the average score for a game in 2023 is 7.2 Do you really think it's fair now? Do you really think it's worse than more than 50% of all game releases this year? Get off it. You clearly never played the game, and the reviewer has obvious biases and messed up standards because he hates the acquisitions.
Nah, it’s bugged unimpressive and worse than its predecessors.
It’s a 5/10 at most, but since it’s AAA they have to avoid death threats so they artificially bump up the score

Kudos to ign for their bravery for giving this game an average score when the vast majority of other outlets including their sister companies ign Spain and ign Brazil gave positive ones. You do have to applaud the courage knowing that the game is now out on gamepass and people will be able to judge for themselves. You go ign stay you.

7 is fair imo. 8 is too generous. 6 is too harsh. 9 or 10 is just flat out incomprehensible.
@pantherowow77 they did give FFXVI a 90 and that game was a 60 at best so that's a problem.
Ign can't win can they
@SENATORPAIN1 no they can't. Not in today's world. Their reviews except for the purpose of internet let's call it discussion are pretty much irrelevant. This game is a perfect example. It's on gamepass so basically anyone with an Xbox and a functional brain is getting it on gamepass. They are trying it on gamepass and deciding for themselves.
No maps. No ground vehicles. Weird NPCs. Space travel is optional. Stuck in 2008. 7/10 seems fair. This is Outer Worlds 2. Its not the space sim we all wanted

This game has some serious outer worlds* vibes.
its because the devs of outer worlds made the first 2 fallout games and New Vegas. The studio Obsidian is like a smaller Bethesda Softworks, with a bigger focus on choice.
