Thanks Glenda. Thanks for introducing this unique stitch. I could see using this to make a rug. I especially liked how you used different hook sizes to show how dense or loose this pattern can be. ❤️
Hook & Needles, thank you for sponsoring this video! I've not tried subscriptions like this before, yet when Glenda showed us the "crochet box of goodness", including 3 different pattern possibilities with the same yarn, my interest was peaked! As soon as I'm out of the hospital, I'm going to your website. Many thanks again for sponsoring this video! MaryAnne
Yay a new stitch of the week 🎉❤ Just dropping in to say thank you to our new members we are currently at 122! When we reach 150 we are going to do another celebration video 😉
Thank you Gleda I love stitch of the week you most do more!!!!❤❤😂😂 I am so inspired so got to go abd get this start this pattern. Until next time Happy ❤ crocheting❤❤❤❤❤I love this channel so much😂😂😂😂
Excellent video showing how much a difference yarn size along with hook size can make! Love these stitch videos.. i do have every one of these printed out and in a binder😂 thanks Glenda, my fellow NEPA resident ❤
Love the comparison with hook sizes!!! Using the comparatively same yarn thickness with three different sized hooks is so interesting and helpful! Many thanks. Now I know what hook to try when I make this. And oh yeah - the stitch tutorial was great, too! 😄The texture this stitch makes is really beautiful. Hadn’t paid much attention to the half double slip stitch before now. Thanks, Glenda! ❤
Beautiful stitch! I need to make a couple of blankets for gifts and already have the yarn, Premier Puzzle. Although I love the stitch I don’t think it’s a TV yarn for me bc of the holding of the yarn to pull through. I am ADHD and have the attention span of a mosquito and I’d probably would have to frog more than crochet. I need a “no matter what is going on around me” stitch. And also it looks best on a solid color. The Puzzle yarn needs a simple stitch IMHO. I’ll look over all your stitch patterns. But this stitch is a keeper! Thanks, this grandma loves everything you do.
I wish they would also offer to buy these boxes as single order. Or if they would offer the monthly boxes as e-book to download, as most of us have some stash to use for these projects. After all, their boxes don't have huge projects and receiving a monthly idea together with the information needed to work it, would be especially interesting for crocheters and knitters with stashed yarns.
Half double crochet slip stitch. It looks so similar (in execution) to half double crochet that I had to actually do both stitches to understand the difference. Thanks to other commenters for naming both stitches. It helped me get it sorted.
It's a very neat stitch though I can't see making an entire project out of it as my fingers would cramp. BUT it makes a lovely edge on the beanie I just made and will be great on other projects too! Thanks!
Love seeing size hook changes with 4 weight yarns. Do you have recommendations for a beginner wearable? Stitch to use and pattern ideas? I would love to attempt a wearable, but I need someone to show me as no one is around me crochets. Thank you for all you do and for Cody's help too.
Having a monthly box sent wouldn’t be good for me. I like to choose my own projects and yarn. I have tons of ideas in my brain queue. Currently doing crochet rope beading bracelets! So fun and beautiful!
Hi Glenda. I am doing my first adult size blanket and it is granny stitches, following your tutorial. I wish to do a pretty border to finish the blanket. Which one can you recommend?
She said it’s a new stitch of the week, meaning she is doing a new tutorial for a stitch. She never said she was inventing and sharing a brand new stitch never before seen…. Ugh
I have been with these crochet boxes but I absolutely hate the hooks! They send a flat hooks when direction show a different hook…I have been dissatisfied with this. Please understand I can’t use a flat hook ….
Maybe Hook & Needles send different hooks than other companies? No matter what a company sends, I use Clover Amour Hooks which are the best! I donate the hooks sent in kits, so others who can't afford may use them. I hope that you have a delightful day.
Thanks Glenda. Thanks for introducing this unique stitch. I could see using this to make a rug. I especially liked how you used different hook sizes to show how dense or loose this pattern can be. ❤️
I appreciate you showing using different sized hooks to show us how it creates the differences in the stitch. thank you!!
Hi Glenda i love watching you and Cody I'm 72 and started crocheting about 7 months ago and it's all thanks to you guys ❤

Oceangirl I am so sorry you are in the hospital. I pray you have a fast and speedy recovery.
This looks like a good stitch for a dishcloth, too. Especially to look nice to give for gifts.
Great pattern, just perfect need to make a baby blanket. Thank you❤❤
This is my favorite stitch. I have used it for blankets, washcloths and scarves. It’s a very pretty stitch. 🧶💜🙏🏻
That is different and unique. I guess you could also call it an HDC slip stitch. Pretty cool

Using cotton, this would make a nice hot pad I think.
HI GLENDA, VERY NICE STITCH. THANK YOU❤
Now that is a beautiful stitch. Imagine a nice sweater done with that. It would be so warm and cozy. :)
Can't wait to try it! Thanks Glenda!

Hello Glenda, Great to see you again. Love your videos. ❤

Love the way you explain every aspect of the stitch. Thank you so much!
😊 I really like this stitch! Thank you 😊
Hi Glenda it looks like a 1/2 double crochet. So have a good day.
Nice stitch Glenda. I plan on making a play mat for baby with one!
Lovely Stitch. It probably takes some time to make a blanket with that Stitch.
For a baby blanket I would use a big hook. Looks nice. Thanks Glenda.
I can't wait to try this on my next project...I currently have 3 WIPs I need to get finished first😊
good morning.ive been looking for a stitch for a rug. thank you
I actually use this stitch to make ribbing when making sweaters mostly😊
Wow that is an easy stitch, thank you for sharing.
Oh my gosh! I love this stitch. Simple but it looks so fancy! ❤

Hi Glenda 👋 thank you for sharing another great stitch 😁
Love it, Glenda! I see a couple of new bath mats in my future. 😃

Hello Glenda very pretty and easy stitch.
Thank you!!! I love this! I really liked how it looked in the DK weight for a baby blanket.
Love the color way of this yarn of the Mandala gradient pink

Great! Thank you.
I like it !! Ty Glenda ❤❤
Neat stitch. 🌻
I think I can do this😊
It's a very neat stitch though I can't see making an entire project out of it as my fingers would cramp. BUT it makes a lovely edge on the beanie I just made and will be great on other projects too! Thanks!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Love your videos and I have learned so much!!!
I agree! Love the repeating and slowing going for us beginners. I have learned so much. Appreciate every single video you make. Bless you Glenda! ❤
Thank you just wondering if this would be good for scarf just let me know thanks
Does this stitch have a name? I love the first sample and the mandala gradient yarn.
Glenda says the name during the video.
I’m A Subscriber I Have Not Commented In A While But I’m Still Following Your Channel 👍🏽♥️🌺💛🌼👍🏽

Can’t wait to try this stitch! Is there a name for this stitch?
Glenda says the name of the stitch during the video.
Do you have a stitch tutorial for double herringbone I keep forgetting how it's done .
Look like a half double crochet. I use that as my go to stitch. What is this one called??
Glenda if I want to make a blanket what would the beginning chain count be?
You would just chain to the width you want, no stitch multiple for this stitch pattern, then work to desired length
Smaller hook so close together… nice for a bag or purse.
Hi Glenda. I am doing my first adult size blanket and it is granny stitches, following your tutorial. I wish to do a pretty border to finish the blanket. Which one can you recommend?
I think the Moss Stitch Border by Blossom Crochet would look nice here is the link to her video ruclips.net/video/HhPRHKNymfU/видео.html
@@CreativeGrandma Thank you, that is a pretty stitch ❤️
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🌹🌹🌹
What color is that Premier DK batik yarn? It's beautiful. I already checked the description box and didn't see anywhere. Thank you :)
Its the color Unicorn #2053-02
@@CreativeGrandma thank you very much :)
What week# is this stitch for the printed pattern ? I can’t seem to find it. Thanks
Is this a half double stitch? If so, it's not new.
It’s a half double slip stitch - different from a half double, and produces a different look. 😊
This is a half double crochet slip stitch not the same as a half double crochet
She said it’s a new stitch of the week, meaning she is doing a new tutorial for a stitch. She never said she was inventing and sharing a brand new stitch never before seen…. Ugh
Is there a stitch multiple or can you start with any number of chains?
no stitch multiple start with any number of chains
I have been with these crochet boxes but I absolutely hate the hooks! They send a flat hooks when direction show a different hook…I have been dissatisfied with this. Please understand I can’t use a flat hook ….
