Today we continue our Overland Build Part 5 where we prepare for Overlanding, off-roading, 4x4 expeditions and need more power, torque and better sound of course so we are installing a custom jba dual exhaust system with JBA shorty headers and will install, review and do a sound test.We chose JBA Headers and Exhaust for increasing power and torque and because we believe their quality is above many headers and exhaust systems. We are installing on Ford FX4 2014 f150 5.0. We will be doing a before and after sound test. Also we are down at Frankenstien custom shop for their awesome custom work excited to get ready for Overlanding adventure and hope to increase power, torque, horsepower and better sound and flow.

the stock muffler isn't restrictive
Nice now you got to have a cold air Intake with that which you probley already have I'm not sure then you gotta get a dyno tune and then you will be able to see all the benefits out of it and to get your air fuel ratios back to normal because that will lean it out with out a tune

Nice additions. I would suggest looking into 5 star tuning for the 5.0, I couldn't find anyone local to tune my Eco. You may have some more luck with the 5.0 local, due to the same motor as the Mustang GT. Keep the Vids coming!
I have the SCT 87 tune but was thinking about switching to 89 tune or different tuner or even a dyno . Good call and I appreciate the encouragement to keep rolling. It’s can be a bit tough when your growing and your creating content trying to deliver value and bring videos that people like but your not entirely sure so thank you. Wadz
@@WADZUP With the canned SCT tune, you should set the truck back to stock and then update the device (if you haven't recently). The actual tuner for SCT Ford vehicles has made some updates to the shifting. If you go with a custom remote tuner like 5 Star, they utilize your SCT device and just email you tunes that you can load yourself. Data logging is always recommended.
Something you may want to consider for driving around that area, is a decent CB radio. can be helpful when you're exploring logging roads (especially on the east side of Harrison). One small item that I really like having when I'm offroading is a dead-pedal. I put in a "Raptor" one from Cravenspeed. It helps keep you planted while the truck is shifting around in the rough stuff. I'm far from hardcore, but like to be comfortable and prepared when I go explore.

7 hours. Remember to recheck bolts torque a week later because it’s necessary.
Any issues with check engine light? Think of getting the long tube for my Fj
No the only issue I had was you need to go back a few weeks later and re torque all the header bolts or you chance it loosening off and blowing a gasket and having to do the job again

For the headers it isn't, the link is only for the mufflers and piping from what I can see. Either way I ordered the 1688sjs and the weld quality was SHITE. Returning them now
