What a great video, you and your beautiful growing family have come full circle. I remember watching the first video you did when your Tacoma got CBI equipped. I’ll be making that same trip this coming Tuesday when I head up there from my home in Salt Lake to pick up my covert series front bumper for my 2020 Tacoma. Just picked up my 40” light bar from Heretic today. Brad over there said you’re good people. Looking forward to fostering a relationship with what I call, the Wasatch holy trinity of automotive accessories: CBI, Prinsu and Heretic. Lucky to live close to these guys.
you don't put airbags on a raptor, they will rip or limit your travel. Deaver Springs is what he needs to check out. they can build a set of rear leaf springs with even the capacity for the rear weight factored in.
Chris Rogers did you read my full comment? Look up long travel air bags. They don’t attach to the frame and axle, just the frame. The just hit on a flat spot on the axle. check em out
That Tundra has larger tires and proably stock gear ratio?! Put the same size tires on the Raptor with stock gear ratio and see how it pulls. I've had Icon suspension front and rear on my Tacoma for a few years now AND never had any problems. So far so good! Good video
Hey Max, I too changed from a Tacoma to a Raptor a couple years back. I just wanted more performance and be able to safely tow stuff. I wrote Toyota about the need to have better power and braking on the Tacoma. Well , I got the super cab Raptor which is only a couple inches longer than the Tacoma and what a change! It’s highly maneuverable and the power and interiors are dope. Hope you have sweet times in yours. By the way I fitted a Hellwig spring helper kit to take care of the squat when towing. It doesn’t fit perfect (raptors are not meant for towing) but works for me. JB

Traded up from my 2018 DCSB off-road taco to my 2020 raptor in august, and love the difference in interior space. We have 2 boys (3 and 4.5), and the space makes a difference. I’ve watched this video several times debating the Prinsu roof rack or the KC M-rack.
There's gotta be an airbag set up (using Daystar cradles keeps your flex) that can work when you need the load support but not make it ride much different when they're deflated. You may have inverted your leaf springs you should prob have someone check that out lol
Dont wanna hurt any feeling but honestly the tundra would have been the better choice. And the reason it doesn’t have the punch like the stock raptor is because all the added weight to the tundra n bigger tires with probably stock gears in it and you were hauling a trailer.

I loved that tent. I upgraded to a smaller tent with a hard shell and I haven't enjoyed it as much. I miss the interior shape and atmosphere of the previous tent like the one in this video.

After watching this a second time my question is will you have to purchase a separate gear rack to fit that roof rack or is it capable of handling equipment boxes etc?
I would give the Chevy at least a 7 in looks for the front there is just too much happening. Toyota 8, the raptor maybe a 9 as far as a front end beauty competition. That is from the factory but once you do the work the rankings could change. Does the tundra have a turbo? Did they fix the side by sides 4x4?

Get some long travel air bags. They aren’t attached to the axle, you can still tow heavy loads easier but they don’t limit your travel

Do not go Icon, I had them on my FJ Cruiser and they blew a seal after 10 months then replaced them with Kings and I have never looked back.
Now I just wish they would make one for the Silverado platform!

Did you have any issues with the roof antenna in the front when installing the rack?
