Hey everyone, to anybody considering XtrusionOverland products I have to highly reccomend their customer service skills. I am currently building my new truck back up after trade-in and looking at their products and when you call up they can answer any questions and are very willing to work with you on your personal needs. John and Travis both exceeded the bar for customer service in 2024 in my book
I went to check out 'Mckee Offroad Designs' and it shows the store is now out of business.. they were a short drive from where i live in Texas and I loved their design.
One of them wasn't even a vehicle 😂. These are demo vehicles, most manufacturers don't play with the truck regardless. These are physical sales pitches
Ok so I think I’m now regretting my decision on my purchase of the XTR1 for my truck. There was absolutely no mention of a back order of parts when I made my order. I’ve called, was told that their picking up parts later that day and will ship it right out, that was a week a half ago. I’ve e-mailed and got no reply at all from customer service. I called again and spoke to others that said they will find out when it will be shipped out and text me back, but days have gone by and no text. My order was placed over a month ago now, cancelled a planned trip as well. I hate to keep bugging them. I do understand that I’m not the only customer, but if you say you’re going to do something then do it. Get back to the customers that have paid you and let them know what is going on with their order.
@@bamslife2812 I did receive it after about 10 weeks. They sent different parts than what I ordered and told me that they would sent my original order when back in stock. Still no other parts have come and it’s been about another 10 weeks. I will say that they do fit but not a perfect fit. I’m about to cut the extrusions so they will. I’m glad that I ordered the brackets because they add that extra support. I probably just got lost in their system. I do get stopped all the time and am asked about the bed rack all the time.
@@thevikingtraveler thanks. if i had known it would be 10 weeks i dont know if i would have placed it. i love the idea but i tied up about 2 grand with everything and it sounds like i might get it in 10 weeks and i might not
Did you ever get your rack or money back? It now a few months since your video, and I thought that rack look excellent for my needs. I went to look at it online and noticed that it had been discontinued. Does anybody know the reason behind that? There had to be a patient issue because that rack looks like it would be great The rack look Bitchin, and besides Extrusion Racks there’s not many choices, where you can lift the sides up to access the bed. Anybody have any suggestions?
@@bentonedmonds8983 good afternoon Adam. I did finally get my rack and I'm very happy with it. After seeing your reply to my post, I went on their website and saw that it was still for sale. I'll tell you that when I got the extrusions for my rack it said that they came from a company called Tnutz. you can get everything from them except for the brackets that mount to your truck and the upper corner brackets. I just ordered more connecting plates, hardware and extrusions to customize my rack to fit my needs. Extrusion Overland won't sell you the pieces they make for the racks unless you have purchased a complete rack from them to begin with, which makes complete sense. other than that Tnutz has everything you could want to customize your rack. I did do my research before buying it and I love the customization of it. It took over 2 1/2 months to get. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
The trail Rax with the side bike rack and shovel holder etc looks solid and useful. The hammock rack is next level from Xtrusion. Mcgee offroad or was it Mod, makes some strong hinges and lifters. S-cargo kitchen setup looked cool, mule has some nice canopy set ups. Could not see the welds and reinforcement set up. G3 builds some tank level stuff! Decked looks solid and allows you to use the full length and keep it organized! 💯 Now if there was a hybrid that had a mix of all these guys. That would be next level! 👍🤙🦘💪🌟💥⚡🌞
Are you guys going to start working with Chevy eventually? Your website when going to “shop by vehicle” doesn’t give the option for Chevy so which vehicle would I choose? Your video shows a Chevy but the website doesn’t allow it.
1. It is a millennial combo for both transporting and displaying your stuff. Used to be called a Work Rack? A mesh of any dimension is now called Molly(The ex is named Alice). 2. A traditional bed shell of fibre will not hold weight of a Sumitre type cap. Camper shells of ally over ply are straight out unless you prefix it with tiny. Airstream type are coming back(or never were out).
One big benefit ots stronger. Lighter and the he's make it easy to mount anything. Plus during side winds air goes through ot. A topper turns you into a big sail boat

Ally=alluminium, ply=plywood, Alice and molle are common spec for mounting hardware, borne of military acronym. Sumitre=first mainstream hard shell cap co. to make toppers of oe grade material, ig metal. Airstream=popular alloy camper co. Tiny=prefix of house for mobile millenial. So... illiterate as in I can't read? Or you missed a bit?

We got our red rack for our 2017 Chevy Silverado. We haven’t seen one like ours. Xtrusion rack
I wish that first one was available for Tacoma!
