We were happy with how it turned out. After the final look over we certainly could of improved in several areas. Not to bad for a couple weekend warriors. Thanks for watching!
This is super cool I always wanted to know how to set-up the car now I'm 63 yrs.old I was wanting to learn how to do set-ups as a set -up man. Thanks Lmg.
Our videos are more of a "How We Do It" than a "How To". 😎 Front end setup is easy. Shock, spring, and bar angle are a whole different animal. Thanks for watching!
👍 Great Dedication: Memories: When I was younger I Remember a Late model: On the back of the spoiler it said { How's your ma and Nem } I thought that was pretty Kool As he was passing somebody ✌
I think the car is closer than ever. We did get to the track last weekend, had a slightly better night than the pictures you sent. But it was still a tough first night. Video coming on Sunday!
Yea for body work 😒. Racing can be tough at times. We have totaled several cars out and blown a few engines as well. Each time it sets you back. If you love it keep on trucking!!
I have the same car mines an 08 smack updated in 2014 raised crossmember and right rail , hopefully this helps a bit I’m in the 604 class the car is so tight into the corner it’s crazy I always ran sprint cars and I’m used to to the car just going when I think about it lol so the tight nature has got me gun shy now going into the corners
We have always had tight condition with this car. Mother nature has had us rained out week after week after week. We will be using our new setup that felt better during practice but an electrical problem cut the night short. Keep checking back to see if things get better or worse. We are no experts but are willing to give it our all to figure things out!
@@LateModelGarage I’ll keep an eye on the channel I appreciate it I feel you on the rain as well I’m in southern Louisiana and we’re at 7 rainouts so far this season
LOL!! There is an "adapter" type plate that is mounted to the lift arm. There are a few open holes at the top but we assure you it is bolted on. This entire rear end lift bar set up came out of a 2000ish Shaw Late Model. Seems like some grass roots fabrication took place at some point. It has been working okay for us so far but I am confident a new lift bar will be coming soon. Thanks for watching!
The new Mastersbilt cars do have different mounts for the uppers on both sides. We ran out of time and money to complete that upgrade in the off season. MB said they can get us the parts to do it. Perhaps this winter....
We raced at Richmond Raceway in Kentucky last weekend. The video will be coming out on Sunday. April showers have all the local tracks cancelling so we will be sitting out. Thanks for watching!
🤣🤣🤣🤷♂️ More than a 16 year old kid that's for sure. Drew is kinda a meat and potato's fella. We will get the left side down without the slim fast plan though. Just need a little more time. Thanks for watching!
Looking good and great job ! You guys have fun !
We had a good time last Saturday for the first night out. That video will come out this Sunday. Mother nature is claiming weekend racing for tomorrow.
Good luck & you have a lot of good info, love the color combo on the hot rod!!!

Thanks guys for getting back to me, I just didn’t want anybody to get hurt. Lol. Good luck to you guys this weekend.
No problem. We are known to leave a thing or two loose from time to time. Never hurts to speak up just in case. 👍
Good luck guys!
Thank you! We will try to keep the rubber on the ground!
Good luck Saturday!
Mother nature is going to win the races this Saturday. We need the weekend off anyways. Been pushing hard since Thanksgiving. We deserve it LOL.

That is really funny! There are a lot of clever racers out there. Track footage coming Sunday!
Hopefully you got the car close. Good luck don’t do like we did

@@LateModelGarage I would hope so. Now we’re waiting on getting a chassis back. Then build another body

Nice video!! Thanks
Thanks Richard! We have been doing more building than filming but we are getting back too it. Thanks for watching!
Nice looking hot rod! A 225 on the right rear is the right call, the car will load/unload much smoother in the corner.
We think it will help. Spring rubbers can always be added if we need to step it up.

Hey guys I was looking at your video and it looks like the lift arm on top of the rear end was not bolted onto the side bell. ?

The only way to correct the left side is to cut the upper a frame off and set it and reweld it
