Being an American with a real glock (glock 19) I can say this is VERY realistic compared to a lot of other airsoft pistols
If a Glock is you're fav pistol like me that means you are a true American
I have both this airgun as well as a real glock 17 gen 4 and I can truthfully say that this is a very faithful replica

@@Parfashrek i would say yes i have this BB gun and my real glock 17 service pistol i use the bb gun for when i cant make it to the range and its held up very well (it has been dropped many times)

Just got mine! Few things to point out:
Slide and barrel are aluminium but are finished in a dark grey replicating a steel slide. No rattle or barrel movement. Recoil is strong but accuracy isnt the greatest although there is a hop up adjuster. The look and finish is just on another level compared to every glock ive had in the past including asg, marui, we tech and vfc. My advice is GET ONE and mine did come with a glock base plate uk.
Have you had any problems with yours???? Mine lodges bbs in the barrel.... you have to watch out for that, the slide also locked solid during reasembly after stripping, force was needed to free it ( I was horrified !!! ) and finally the threaded plug for locking the co2 cartridge is a pig to thread on..... it has trouble catching its thread !!!! Nearly forgot.... it shoots really low. I love the gun and it does shoot but I know that it has these problems !!!
I love mine so much, if you are on the fence about getting this, I highly recommend just get it. It took me a while because I was torn in between on the Springfield XDM and this Glock 17 Gen 4. Based on all the research I’ve done those are by far in my opinion the most realistic replicas up to dates from field striping to the way they operate. So I decide to just get both. But I love my Glock!
avoid the xdm, even the airsoft versions

I just got one today. Very decent handgun. I’ve always wanted a glock, but I will always cherish my M1911.

1911s are hella cool full of history, ive shot glocks and 1911s i got respect for both but 1911 takes it for me
I'm more of a 1911 enthusiast and have several variations, but do own a G19X, it's a great C02 pistol (Not a fan of the Cayote color), Would you recommend owning a G17 gen 4 air pistol, is it a better version of the G19x my friend?

Very good review! Thank you! Quick question. The manual mentions about using some specific rod to remove jams. Do you know what rod and how to do it? Also, it says about putting a drop of oils in the co2 compartment. Which oil?

Does anyone has a problem with trigger safety? Mine lost its tension after a couple of days of just pulling the trigger. It no longer works, it just sits leveled with the trigger itself. Tried to disassemble the gun, but didn't find any tension spring that is connected to the trigger safety.

Just got mine today, it fits perfectly in my Recover Tactical 20/20 Glock stabilizer brace, going to try it in my MCK Micro Roni but I think it will work.

Hey buddy, i was wondering if this is the 4,5mm or the 6mm version of the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4? Do you know if there are any differences other than the ammo?
4.5mm steel BB gun. The 6mm is the airsoft plastic BB, and would require an airsoft permit in order to buy the Black/Black. Otherwise you'd have the twin colour.
Question do you have 4,5mm bb or 6mm bb Glock 17 Gen 4? And i think that there are only metal/steel bb's for 4,5mm and plastic for 6mm bb's? And which one is better for me the 6mm or 4,5mm version Glock 17 Gen 4 i am mostly playing free for all with my friends and i dont want that my friends get really hurt

Well built. Solid pistol.. minus the plastic.. let down by its accuracy and very low power. The heavy slide.. real Dual recoil spring.. Obviously uses more co2 than is needed.. so for these cosmetics.. you're shooting and accuracy will be affected. Also yes it's fun to field strip.. but in all honesty it's not needed.. You haven't exactly got Gun powder residue to clean up. The best out of all the Glocks umarex (wingun) have brought out is The G19 gen3.. most accurate and has the most fps.. upto 400fps where the G17 gen4 is around 300fps. Also has good co2 efficiency.. meaning you get more shots per co2. Very solid little pistol.. And its £100! £60-£80 cheaper than the G17 gen4.. I've shot the G19 gen3 at 10 and 15 yards standing and can easily achieve a 1 1/2 inch group. Blowback is fun.. For feel.. But how much you going to have if you can't even hit what you're shooting at?
Nice presentation. I've got a real one of these and my wife bought a .177 cal pellet Version of it.
We also have a RONI-KIT and both guns are suitable with it. I borrow the Airgun now and again from my wife to train cheaper at the range.

@@ReplicaReviews If your gun is a GEN4 it'll fit. So far I know that only the Glock GEN1 and 5 are not compatible to the Roni-kit. All others do and the Airgun is a model GEN4. Thanks for the reply, Mate. Greetings from northern Germany.👍🏼😁
These things are actually loud asf when ur in person, the audio always cuts quiet when they fire on video because it blows out the microphone due to volume.

like your channel, question do you know where I can get the feeding lip for the magazine. Can't find them anywhere it's seems this is one of the downsides of the Umarex Glock

You can also take a trip to Poland if you wanted to shoot a real 9mm one at one of the ranges here. I just did a few days ago, not sure which gen it was but it was a cool experience shooting the real thing.

Was this replica aka non firearm did the trigger feel like glock 17 gen 4 real 9mm ,i dont have any replicas 25y ago i had spring bb toy but i have not any memories of the trigger and the upper slide,barrel metal wide thing which you dissamble glock 17 and in the all plastic not polymer and it was a safety lock so the trigger didnt go back atleast if you dont press too hard.lol.
Anyway is this Like the real trigger,say what you say but glock 17 gen 4 after break in is better atleast many people Including me like gen 4 better but The Airsoft if this trigger bounces back that wont give same feeling, unless they made it this and The feeling because myn g17 gen4 9mm isnt "blowback" The barrel tilts thats why i keep oil on that place always Especially. Hi James, do you actually own the Glock in Switzerland or hire it? I miss all my handguns and semi auto rifles, lucky enough to have been an owner way back in the 80's.
Iv'e recommended this a ton of times but join a club in NI. Iv'e been out there twice already this year (going since 2017) and I'll be off again sometime before Christmas. About £150 a trip. I sign myself in as a full club member, ask for what I fancy/is available (Glock 19 last time), and as much ammo as I can afford/likely to shoot. Find someone to RO you and you're away. I know it's not as cool as actually owning your own one but you'd be amazed at how much it takes the sting out of our crappy mainland laws - it eventually becomes a little bit routine, still cool, but no big deal. As per the rest of the UK; NI can only own semi-auto rifles in .22, but again the selection of handguns is in a different universe to the mainland, pretty much anything that's available in America.
i've had a few people mention NI but i've not really had much luck finding out any solid info.... would certainly be closer and cheaper by the looks of it to the current set up - travelling to switzerland.... james
michael wayne that’s terrible but seems to be the story everywhere after they punish good law abiding men. We’re holding em off the best we can in the states...they’re trying their hardest, but I have a feeling it will not end well for them...

Did this pistol come with an orange too? Of so how is it removed? One of the reasons I'm asking is because I want an actual replica down to the T's

The trigger safety is functional. As for shots; that’ll depend how fast you shoot, the temp etc, but over here just plinking you’ll be looking at around 3 mags.

Bought mines off Amazon couple weeks ago..... Mine have a glock mag base plate..... I'm just tryna see how to adjust the hop up... Cause the accuracy very off... Very low from target aiming straight on..... I also bought the sig sauer p365..... Now IS MY FAVORITE GUN compared to the bb glock Gen 4... What ever you aim at you hitting it very very accurate from 10-20 feet EASY .... And loud and kickback from blowback stronger than my gen 4......

Where does the CO2 go? Can I reload with 2 mags, or do I have to only use 1 if the CO2 cartridge is in the mag itself?

I was close to getting this until I found out it was half blowback. The webpage on every sight it's on didn't say this.
I just bought the KWC k17 4.5mm bb version. Apparently KWC make and distribute a lot of their pistols to companies like Umarex who just re-brand them with official licensing and sell them for more. I would assume my KWC K17 is pretty much exactly the same gun as this Umarex gen 4 apart from a different looking pistol grip.
Sounds like a plus to me. I've only had positive experiences with replicas manufactured by KWC

Hi all just started playing with air guns more so with paintball markers but I'm clueless on the law here in the UK 🇬🇧 I have just got my self the hdr 50 7.5 joules what ever that means been told 7.5 is OK for that gun but I don't understand it all ..my question is umarex Have come out with a new gun the umarex hdx 68 pump shotgun and have it in 7.5 and 16 joules what I like to know is can I have the 16 joules one in the UK or will I get in trouble having the 16 joules 🇬🇧 and all so with paintball markers is it OK to use rubber balls in the UK with the paintball gun I'm desperately need the right answer as I don't want to be in trouble with the law or fancy going prison lol ..so is it OK to gave the 16 joules ..umarex hdx pump shotgun...and can you use rubber ball in paintball markers ?? Or is it only just paintballs hope you can help thanks

i've not tried with either: BUT - providing the quality of the BB is decent, i really can't see why it wouldn't.

Got this pistol when she first came out, one of the best looking replicas out there as you stated, BUT its the most inaccurate pistol in my collection sadly. NO idea why, ive tried adjusting the hop up several times but damn she just drops the shots, which means although shes a beautiful looking pistol, she tends to stay on the sidelines when it comes to shooting. Pity really.

My purchase (one for gift & one for myself) shot about 3-2" low, consistently. I'm on my 4th because of production defects - low shooting, feed ramp/BB loader X2. Have not finished my first purchase of BBs (same as the ones you shoot here). Parts are not available. Umarex insists I pay for shipping defective unit to their facility. Not really happy. Wish they were not plagued by defects and bad QC.
This is a weird question but I have no UKARA and I dont have a desire to get a UKARA defence. Can I convert this to a 6mm airsoft gun by changing the recoil spring, inner barrel and putting a 6mm umarex glock green gas magazine? Or what parts need changing?
Any effort to essentially manufacture a RIF is an offence in itself if you don’t have a “UKARA defence”. By turning it from an air pistol into an imitation firearm / airsoft - you’ve “manufactured” a RIF... best advice - shelve the idea!

So slide like looks about 20% longer on the frame and when locked back doesn't look like it goes all the way back?
it locks back much like a normal glock would.... the gen 3 doesnt go all the way back but this gen 4 does as its made differently...

I've been wanting to get into air guns and more specifically co2 and faithful replicas. Had the chance to shoot one of these in the US. I was wondering were I could purchase one of these in the UK? Both myself and my wife have missed the shooting we used to do in our younger years any advice on how to obtain one in the UK would be very helpful. Gen 3 is more powerful but Gen 4 has full blowback and realistic magazine.

Just to confirm the latest stock of these now come with the glock base plate on the mag (uk) also spare mags with the base plate are availibile to buy separate for existing owners they are £55 uk tho, but this rounds off what is the best of the umerex glock range in 4.5mm.
