After all these years with the music of that phantastic guitarist it's still a breathtaking event listening to his playing. A pity that he's retired from non-spanish classical guitar music ... good look - there are those albums of the past that remember all those brilliant Giulianis and Sors ... played by a true genius.

@skirmish703: If you haven't heard it, Federico Moreno Torroba orchestrated Celedonio Romero's Suite Andaluza as the Concierto de Málaga for Guitar and Orchestra - great recording of Pepe Romero playing it with Neville Marriner/ASMF.
no es difícil tocar eso lo complicado es tocar a la misma velocidad. hace unas semanas conseguí las partitura del maestro Celedonio. todo iba bien hasta que me encontré con fantasia; el master (su hijo obviamente) don pepe las toca con unas variaciones, y son muy complicadas por que lo que viene en la partitura no es lo mismo, quisiera pensar que don Celedonio romero trato de hacer con esta ultima obra una master piece una pieza para orquesta y me baso en que el ultimo video que vi de pepe romero fue con orquesta y casi la tocaba igual que en la partitura. al final de cuentas saque la canción "fantasía" viendo videos del propio romero, tal vez no igual pero quizá suenan igual a mi parecer; pero sinceramente no soy muy bueno, a lo que me refiero es que no te menosprecies la vas a tocar parecido pero lo importante es que la toques con sentimiento. si quieres te paso la partitura o la tab para que mas o menos te des una idea. "la música es arte, el arte es libertad; entonces ve, mira, siente y escucha libremente"

he is just doing pull offs, he is hitting the string near the bridge, and it makes a little noise and he takes advantage of it to pull off the string :)
