I went to UCT as well and studied Computer Science, and honestly, it has opened a lot of opportunities for me, I am now working as a Software Developer in San Francisco, I would confidently say that UCT has offered me internationally recognition and opportunities.... coming from a small village in Limpopo, South Africa that changed my life
Congratulations on reaching 1000 subscribers Tino🎉 Video suggestions: 1. A day in your life at AWS 2. The top skills to learn/ have to advance yourself or make yourself more marketable in the IT field esp as a foreigner.
I'm a second year accounting student and my first year was not that good, but I can honestly say that the support given by UCT made it much more bearable.
Yoh, even hearing the letters UCT give me heart palpitations 😭. You're absolutely on point about the lecturers being super smart but just lacking in actually teaching. Oh and the resources they have are really helpful. When is part 2 coming out?
😅 I wonder if they do actual training courses on teaching. I mean high school and prep school teachers often have teaching degrees and all. Part two is coming on next week 😋😋😋
Great content! Would love to see videos about 1. A day in the life of a Cloud Support Associate at AWS 2. Experience as a Grad Intern and how different it was from life at Uni 3. Post University Hustles?
Hmmm this would be super interesting. I’ve shyed away from work related content because I’m not sure how much I can share 😅😅. But I’m gonna work on this though because after all that is what I do 40 hours a week 😋. Thank you for the suggestions!
Three weeks ago I was thinking of buy a drone but I wasn’t sure which one. I went on RUclips and I bumped into your video. Your review on each drone was so good that I was shocked why I didn’t know about your channel before. I literally had to watch everything video you uploaded and ever since, I can’t afford to miss a single one. If you do a video on ANYTHING😂, I just know it will be great. My suggestion would be something related to property and real estate, most adults can’t spend a day without thinking of one of the two.
😂 this is so cool! My dron journey was a painfully expensive one I'm glad you found the videos useful! Coincidentally I've been research Real Estate lately and wow that field is just HUGE. I look forward to sharing some experiences from there. Thanks for the suggestions.
It definitely was not what I had expected especially the contents of the course but I absolutely appreciate the experience. Congratulations on 1K Tino! 🤗💃🏾

Hey Tino. You remind me of the cousin everytime I watch your videos. You two are so alike. Video suggestion: 1. Photography tips and tricks for phones 2. How you meal prep for the week while working. 3. How to balance academics with work/social life. 4. Your view on interracial dating/marriage

Relatable Content will be joining you at Amazon next year!!
Another thing is that Uct’s financial aid is one of the best. The administration of Nsfas at uct was well managed than some universities. Nsfas introduced the sbux system where students would receive their allowances through a voucher system. This basically controlled where and what you could purchase with the voucher. Uct denied this system and we were allowed to actually receive our allowance in our bank accounts. This was a huge deal for us at the time coz we didn’t actually want to be limited in what we buy and where we buy with that R1400. This was when nsfas was still controlled by the institution. I understand now the situation is different. Great points
Thats such a great point. I wasn’t aware UCT’s contributions to NSFAS were so significant. This is something worth looking into. Thank you for your insights Carol ☺️
😂the corny jokes have me rolling! Definitely was triggered everytime you said UCT.😂 You could do a video on how you've evolved in photography and your equipment or how it has impacted your life observing all those sites. Or photography tips for beginners(if you haven't already done this)
