very nice job! one upgrade to these cabinets that I have seen is adding a "T" to the air line and adding a blower attachment to the new line; that way, you can blow off the parts once you are done with them and it makes cleaning them easier
Thank you! I had that same small one, very hard to work with and can fit only very small parts. With this one I can blast almost anything I need. We'll see now the plywood holds over time... I can always bolt some sheet metal from the inside to protect it, but for now it works great.
A few minor tweaks.. Larger mesh to prevent dropping items into the bottom and perhaps a small shelf to put things up and out of the way..I knock things over constantly even without reaching with gloves and a hosed attachment.. Ear protection? Those compressors are kind of loud..That's being kind. ;)

Vey nice build. Excellent use of Zip tie Wizardry! I'm just curious what your finished dimensions are on the cabinet and how are the ergonomics working out for you?
@@CraftwerksMC I see... I'm not a tall guy so it works great for me but you can always add some kind of DIY platform between the cabinet and the wheels. or if there are bigger plywood boards available where you live you can use that. With this project, I was mostly concerned how will plywood hold over time, but so far so good... and you can always bolt some sheet metal in the back to save the plywood.
Hi i was wondering, what is called this plastic thing, that you use for gloves hole? I would like to make my own cabinet, but i couldn't find this part anywhere. BTW awesome work :)
just the plywood you used is at last 60$ in my country. I want to build oen like this as well, but it will cost 3-400$ i think for all materal and parts.
I'm not sure about the actual number, but I feel it's not even near 300-400$. I also used sand gun from my small cabinet I didn't use any more. Plus, this one is huge... New ones in similar size are astronomically expensive.

Can you please share the dimensions in detail?...

Thank you! That a great idea!
Super wykonanie ..też jestem w trakcie takiej kabiny✌️😁pozdrawiam
Thank you!
Nice, but it seems cost isn't a problem making everything out of plywood.
That’s so cool! Such a good size, lighting and extraction. I’ve got a tiny one which i hate, need to upgrade

Result is amazing bro 🙌🙌🙌good job
🙏🙏🙏
I would prefer strip led for better lighting, btw nice job dude 👍👍👍
Thank you! Yeah, led would be great. But for now I'll just add one more of these reflectors in the middle.

Thank you for watching! Yeah, I just used the mesh I already had but will definitely upgrade. Thank you for the tips!
Fantastic job 👍
Thank you!
Nice build, but can't this bring cheaper buying one cheers
Thank you for watching! This cabinet is huge, and would cost a small fortune to buy new... at least here, where I'm from.
@@RestorationApprentice ok mate. I did know it was big
Could I use an old glass windowed chest freezer instead?
You definitely could. Collecting media might be challenging though.
Hi very nice Cabinet! Do you have plans for it?
Thank you! Unfortunately, I don't.
What are the dimensions of the large pieces? simple plans would be awesome.
Sorry for the late reply. I'm super busy these days, if I catch some time, I'll measure it.
Hey brother if I built one just like your...What's the Cost?....How much was it to built please 🙏
I honestly don't know... it was quite a bit time ago. And it all depends on where you live and prices there.
Nice project! Do you do some kind of sand recirculation?
Thanks! What do you mean by sand recirculation? I just open the valve on the bottom to take the old sand out.

Thank you for watching! Working area is around 150cm x 70cm or 50cm near the front. Sorry, what are ergonomics? English is not my native language.

Do you have the plans for the sand blaster?
Unfortunately, no. Just did a small sketch for myself and went with it.

Thank you! It's actually from metal, I'm not sure what's called but it used to connect a wood stove to the chimney... Hope that helps.
@@RestorationApprentice that helps a lot :D Ty, have a great day

Omg, between plywood, paint, hardware, screws, lighting, wiring, and other, you could have bought 5 blast cabinets from harbor freight!!
Closest Harbor Freight is about 4000 miles from me. :) and this one is huge in comparison to those they sell.
@@RestorationApprentice fit a wheel inside that beast
It's cheaper to buy one with plywood at 40$per sheathing
This is a big cabinet... They are extremly expensive to buy new, atleast where I live.
Wood these days cost just as much as it would be to just buy a cabinet
It all depends where you live, but definitely not at this size. It costs hundreds to make and thousands to buy.
