kexp is a major exposure. If this means so little to a band, that you play some little acouctic set instead of your best electric show, if you don't care why should anyone else. Forget this band!
I strongly suspect that the electric gear was being set up at the venue they were on their way to, while they stopped through the studio to record this. They use a lot of effects, loops, sequencers etc. live - it's not just rolling in with a drum kit and a Blues Jr. amp to set up. Lots of bands play unplugged sets at KEXP - right in my "up next" column I'm seeing Silversun Pickups and the Pixies with acoustics too. And they sound great. Chill.
She's good but there's no shortage of Lana content out there. KEXP's booking of lesser know and up-and-coming bands is what makes it such a fantastic station.
You might be surprised by this, but in the same amount of time you have also aged... so have I, and actually (would you believe it?) that isn't all that unusual. I notice that you have nothing to say about the rest of the band aging... is that because they haven't, or because it is only worth commenting on because you feel that women need to always look like they are in their early to mid 20s in order to be good at what they do?

They have been touring like mad hatters since the release of Hitch! They look really tired! :)
