Baxter and I really enjoyed this video. I'll be making a few of these for myself. They would also make very nice gifts. I love that fabric! And who is Baxter? He's an almost 11 month old tuxedo kitten who really seems to enjoy your videos! He sits on my lap and actually watches the entire video. When it's over, he gets down and leaves the room or finds something to play with.
So funny! My cat does the same thing! She sits on the arm of my chair and watches the video with me, really paying attention! I wonder if it's the soft talking and the sound of the machine along with all the fabric movement.
I'm sure you've seen that gif of kitty cats sewing? Well now you know how he/she learned! Watched Donna Jordan! ;-).
@@ArtBrain Yes, I've seen that! I do a bit of cat rescue when needed and all my friends send everything with cats to me. :-)

I just bought the last bit of Painted Meadow in teal available. I’ve been obsessed with Kaffe Fassett fabric, but I think this is so beautiful! I’ve got 1.5 yards, and I really want to show off the featured fabric with just a few accent fabrics.

Thanks for sharing this envelope pillow. What a great way to decorate for any season without needing space to store extra pillows. Covers take up almost no space at all.

I like the pillow cover pattern. It would allow me to showoff some of my favorite fabrics. I also want to try the kaleidoscope pattern. It is so neat! Thank you Donna.
Me again, Lisa, not Michael. Anyway, I'm curious. About how long, 1day, 2 days, does it take you to make a throw quilt? Do you sew all day? Or sew all evening? You make everything look so easy and your sewing is perfect. I say this as a compliment. It can take me 1 1/2 to 2 weeks just to sew up the top of a throw size quilt. Then quilting on my embroidery machine takes me about 2 weeks. I can only sew a few hours a day. You have a great talent for sewing. I am happy I come across your tutorials!
When I finish my granddaughter's quilt, I want to sew something for our home. I got the Butterfly Blooms(?) pattern, put all the material together with it so it could be my next project, but then I see another great pattern and I don't know what to do next. Do you ever have that happen?

Great idea to start February with. Could you guys create a tutorial for a project that uses fabric other than cotton quilting fabric please? It would be great to see some other fabrics used. I appreciated that your fabrics you use and choose are superb. I am new to quilting and started a course last September but as a keen sewer I have lots of other fabric scraps that could be used for quilting but not too sure how they would work out because of the thickness of seams.

Hi Donna, This pillow is so lovely, and seems quite easy to achieve, although my 'joinings' won't be anywhere near as 'even' as yours haha. I have only made one quilt (a log cabin quilt) up to now, and I was thrilled to bits when I completed it, I followed all your hints and tips and also the binding tutorial too. I now want to make some chair and sofa back covers in quilting and try with my first attempt at quilting (that is not in the ditch), so this pillow seems like the best project to start with and the quilting either side of the seams that you did looks so effective. I have entered the giveaway and would love to win one of your beautiful runners, and as my husband's birthday is Valentine's Day, I would be over the moon if I won that one.
