Don't know about the momos but I definitely loved the way the family sat together helping with the cooking. A thing of my childhood lost to time.

Brother recipe is totally in right way which no one tells the secret ingredient... I jst want to say if you mix the vanaspati at boiling temperature, mix it well n wait till it's get on room temperature it will be taste a little more better .... thanks for sharing the video 😊

I made these yesterday, and they turned out yum (minor alterations: I used table margarine instead of vanaspati ghee, added fine chopped coriander & green chillies), they turned out exactly the same I was used to having momos at a Nepalese joint in Dubai. Thank you so much for the MSG & Vanaspati fix that perfected the street style momos that ended up being juicy with non complex ingredients!

I'm from Darjeeling, I also run momo shop here.it is our traditional food too.you guys did perfect way for making momos, masala that you used were perfect, you should use little ( Hara dhaniya patta)also.that gives more texture and test to momos.even you can use butter instead of dalda,use little olive oil.
You can use seasam or peanut for making tasty chatni,(aachar),
But whatever you learned proper way for making momos, keep it up.

Hello, I want your experience of making momos... did the chicken stuffing cooked well and if yes for how long you kept them in steamer
I tried for fried momos but the inner stuffing went uncooked.
@@nishantbhor1951 I made the momos using this recipe I steamed for about 30 min and after steaming I fried it it was so good, just try it the filling will cook nicely

Great job, but just a little information,for the original momos we make in nepal we dont add soya sauce,but u can add little amount of fresh coriander leave, it will give u more taste, and for oil u can add butter, not those duplicate ghee..
