Hey reply to this comment guys it's bugging me I just got a Mont Moondance 1fn and it only has one eyelets and my mate said it's strange to have 2 eyelets etc z find me an answer ya Camp champs Happy new year too
As far as I am aware, there's not hard fast science to this, Adventure Forever. For me, trail weight has always been the bare minimum you need to set the tent up i.e. tent inner, flysheet, poles and the minimum amount of pegs for the tent to stand upright... I'm sure there will be plenty of differing opinions on this though. So, for this tent you would strip out the stuff sack, tent and pole bags, instruction manual and all but two (or maybe four) of the pegs. I hope that makes sense. ~ Ben
To give you felxibility with tensioning and set up. You can use the outer or the inner, its personal preference and also depends if your tent is wet or has snow load, etc. ~ Lauren
Might be heavy for some, but offers a great balance of weight and value for money for anyone who doesn't want to spend big bucks on a lighter-weight tent. ~ Ben

Looks a lot like the Big Agnes Coper Spur - but obviously a bit hardier and heavier.

You mentioned being able to knock off around 200 grams from purchase weight to trail weight, how so?

2:03 Why are there two eyelets?

@@SnowysOutdoors I see. Thanks Lauren!
Great tent. But is heavy. Too heavy and bulky for hiking with.
