Bargain! They're abit heavier then some other options bit awesome waterhead rating which would be perfect for Tassie weather. I've passed your feedback onto Ben re the video. ~ Lauren

@@SnowysOutdoors haha I do now....10,000 mm Zeus has not any Nemo tent has that..once I seen my boy from mountain creek outdoors he told me what was up .... I now known why I don't need one lol i just got my Zeus today just set it up and omfg it's great...came back to say that the only thing I don't like is were that t section goes across the top hub but doesn't have anything to lock or clip or slide into Other than that it's a great tent stay tuned 8 day trip coming up on a island and into private aboriginal land .....can't wait to show my review....I'll give you both a quick shoutout cause this video and the setup is all we need I won't try any harder Benny does a good job haha Take care cheers
This looks like a decent quality lightweight little tent I could strap onto the back of my bike. Alloy poles and a seemingly slightly heavier duty than normal fly. I'm lookin to upgrade from my el cheapo mozzie dome and this looks like it'll suit my purposes. I have a single size zempire monstamat and its been a good quality product so I'll think I'll give the tent a go. Bit pricey, yet it looks like it'll last a while hopefully.
These tents have certainly proven themselves, Gary, I'm sure you'd be happy with it. Regarding price, they are middle ground, many tents cost much more but Zempire hike tents offer a good balance of price, quality and durability whilst maintaining a good pack weight. ~ Ben
There is about 220cm of internal length so you'll fit, just not with a lot of space at each end. This design of tent is a good option as the frame creates a more upright end wall which gives more vertical foot and head space. ~ Ben
Yes, but it is a 2 person tent, if you are wanting to trim weight then the empire Atom (www.snowys.com.au/atom-hiking-tent) will save you about a kilogram of weight and a bit of space in your pack. ~ Ben
I am looking for a tent, that you can use for hiking and camping.. Would a Zempire Monstamat Twin Camp Mat fit in there, or is it to narrow at that samller end?
The Monstamat is going to be a tight squeeze, SSW. I've never tried it, but I reckon you could just get it in there but it's going to be pressed against the sides and will impede somewhat on the head space inside the tent. The Monstamat is not a suitable mat for hiking either (you may be aware of this), the pack size alone will take up your entire rucksack. I'd recommend looking at some of the lightweight hiking mats from Sea To Summit such as the Comfort Light and Comfort Plus which are around 5-7 cm in thickness and will offer a balance between comfort for camping and compact for hiking. If you definitely want to fit a Monstamat inside a hiking tent I'd recommend a 3 person tent such as the Zempire Trilogy (www.snowys.com.au/trilogy-hiking-tent) or Black Wolf Grasshopper 3 (www.snowys.com.au/grasshopper-ul3-hiking-tent). No matter how you look at it, you'll need a heavier tent to cater for both camping and hiking. I hope that helps. ~ Ben

At 6'4", I am considering this tent as the options are limited for taller people.
Do you think this would be able to accommodate?

Would this be suitable for solo hiking Grampians in winter? Cheers

3000m or 5000m fly waterhead?
5000m on Zempire website
3000m in video
It's 5000mm now, Chris, I think there was a change at some stage after we shot this video, I can't recall exactly. ~ Ben
