    are the cabinets/doors/cavities of all kinds waterproof? ie, can I spray this boy down with a hose? the one I had at another home was a nightmare, hose down and drawers etc full of water :(

      HMM You know what im not sure. I bet you could do that to the bar side, but I wouldnt risk it on the front personally.

    Put a clear wrap on it like they do on the high end cars. That will prevent the scratches & retain the value, even as a showroom display

    Why is power burner installed lower than the grill? Does it make it more accessible?

      not really sure why

    • @Scott-rf5ux
      @Scott-rf5ux 2 года назад +1

      Yes, for accessibility and convenience. Often, tall and heavy items are used on the power burner (think crawfish boil, clam bake, etc.)

    we are thinking of doing a power burner but I do not want to install low and counter height may be too high. Any thoughts on height for insert? 5' recessed? When you use power burner more for side burner cooking and how many times will you cook lobster or Low country boil with big stock pots.??? thanks all

    • @embersliving
      @embersliving  Год назад

      I think counter height is fine, except like you said when you doing boils the pot can be pretty heavy to lift off when its up that high

      @@embersliving thank you. Trying to make choices that make sense for what we do. We live in Savannah so low country boils are a thing. I also make jams. I thought we’d recess maybe 5” down to protect flame?

      Agreed. A poorly executed system, IMHO. It seems marketed at the "vanity crowd" that is more concerned about convenience and appearance than functionality.
