The best detail outdoor kitchen I’ve seen on RUclips. It very detail and worth watching every minute of it! You nailed it on the head outdoor kitchen is a BIG investment!
this is an excellent and well made video for the outdoor kitchen enthusiast. your taste and style is awesome and gives me perspective on what great looks like. thanks!
Brilliant video. I live in Scotland so our idea of a good outdoor kitchen is bringing your coffee outside and not getting flys in it! Love this channel, it really does us teach alot even if we can't get many of these products in the UK.
Should have rounded of the granite which maybe can still be done but absolutely spot on to start with the prep station absolutely. Cedar is great because definitely bug proof. Mind-blowing set up truly outstanding and worthy of a totally separate RUclips Channel.
Been waiting a while for this. I agree a Gas and Smoker are the best two options. Grills like the lions have built in skillet options. You can put a pizza oven in a kamodo Joe. Can’t wait to do my kitchen here in texas!
Now that I’ve watched it a second time, here are my thoughts. 1. Pizza oven between the two windows. Reason being you have a prep side, and a just out of the oven side of countertop space. Not sure the oven can be that close to the house though. 2. I love the drawer idea under the smoker, I’m still putting ideas through my head for when I get my smoker and how to keep things neat and tight! 3. Keeping everyone outside during a gathering rather than going in and out of the house for beverages is a great idea. 4. The first year of weather exposure for the cedar is critical for keeping it look the beautiful, so your thought of every 6 months is spot on! 7. Can’t believe you didn’t go with a BlackStone Griddle!! LOL
Komodo Kamado is the answer for a Komodo style grill. I have a BGE, Big Joe 2, Joe Jr, and 32BB KK. The KK is by far my favorite (although it does take e a little TLC to upkeep the tiles).
Hey Trevor, awesome video! Can you share the dimensions (basically how many ft long are both sides of the kitchen). I want to plan something very similar but in an L shape
I like the content on the channel. A pergola or some other covering would be a cozier feel. A sink is a must for me. DEFINITELY need a good smoker (other than charcoal grill) and... possibly some shorter shorts. 🤭
Very jealous of the range of brands you have in the USA! Can’t even get a gas skillet grill here in New Zealand, from anyone! Anything else there are few choices.
Trevor - love the video man. Was there a reason why you chose the dual fridge drawer option vs. the fridge and freezer drawer combo from Hestan/Perlick?
We have had the Lynx Asado grill for a couple years now, and we like it. However, the grease collectors, while a good concept, don't really work that well. They collect a lot of the grease, but much of it still collects under them in the tray where they sit because there are small gaps, so you end up having to clean both. We're building out a new outdoor kitchen in a new home now, and may go with the Evo this time. (we have room behind to access it easily from both sides) Also, curious about your thoughts on modular stainless outdoor kitchen makers like John Michael and Brown Jordan. We have a John Michael system now (powder coated), and we're really happy with it. Great channel!
if you have space behind I would def do the evo. SS is hard, we did an island in the showroom that is all SS, and it is just impossible to keep it clean and not scratched
Love the vid and am insanely jealous of your set up! #goals Side note, the white ‘string/bungee’ chairs in the background where did you get those? Thanks
Great videos Trevor! As you mentioned various design tips I noticed you didn't mention and or don't have any side burners or power burner. Is there a rationale behind that or just space. Thanks for such a great videos.
Excellent video Trevor. I’m considering the Napoleon 825 pro. Do you have a recommendation of mid-tier and luxury skillet accessory that will go on top of the grill? Thanks.
Really sweet. Do you still use this setup? You can get the gozney dome stand and put it in the corner of the deck to get that counter space back. I personally got rid of my gas grill and just have a naturla gas flat top and a kamado and haven't missed the gas grill.
Did you try an Eno Plancha skillet ? It’s been my #1 last summer . Breakfast , Lunch , Dinner My #2 is my Gozney Roccbox pizza oven . SO FUN ! SO portable! I can do pizza everywhere , every time :)
Amazing kitchen! While I'm waiting for my Hestan to be installed (which I bought from you guys, thanks!), I think you just inspired me to add a Gozney as well. If I could ask, where did you run the gas line for it - did you drill a hole in the countertop? And where is the shutoff valve?
I just built an eleven foot grilling island with a 40” blaze LTE and a Primo XL 400. I have three 20” countertop sections. Other than the 40” double stainless doors under the grill I didn’t add any other drawers or doors. Honestly I know I will wish I had the permanent storage in the long run but I just couldn’t stomach the additional 600-1000 dollars while the entire project is pushing 6K.
Question about the physical placement of the smoker. How far away from the house should you cook with the smoker? I assume if you cook with the smoker up close to your house it may permeate the house with smoke? Or maybe it should be far away in case of some type of grease fire? How many feet from the house do your recommend?
I thought you said before that the Hestan island in your showroom had a Perlick refrigerator and Hestan just uses their refrigerators and slaps their outside finish and trim?
Beautiful outdoor kitchen. How did you figure out how much weight your deck could hold. Planning on doing one on my deck and was curious about that. Thanks for all the videos

What about the coyote asado grill? I haven't seen many reviews online for it. Do you have any feedback for it? Where I live I don't have access to Kamado Joe but there is a Coyote dealer as well as a Blaze dealer. I would love to get a kamado but just unsure which one to get.
Trevor, we are having a hard time finding a stove available before November. Preferably by late October. 15" back from opening of fireplace I have a bit more than 24" clearance in height of metal box. The width is 36". Going with the needed % capacity for rebate what would you have available for our stove guy? I'd prefer no catalytic burn but... can't be completely choosey now as winter is approaching. The home is 1800 square feet but we already have a small pellet in large living room as it is an old house thus compartmentalized. No open floor plan here. Kitchen in back of house (An add on in the 50's) and is freezing in the winter, where the fireplace is. I would like a nice looking one roughly within the $3250 to $3800 range. I am praying we can get this done before 2022 ends! Thanks.
Thanks. I pray we find one as he cannot install until late Oct/early Nov, and I must get a professional sweep too. Thus, once cleaned we can't light a fire in that freezing kitchen. Electric heat is going to be expensive!

do you prefer hestan over wolf? sometimes if someone isn't a dealer option for brand x then that may sway their opinion; would love opinion if have one, I have my choice narrowed to wolf and hestan
Besides Heston.. is there really that big of difference between Blaze / Alfresco / Coyote storage and access doors? I really don’t see the huge difference ( besides a soft close ) between brands. Is it really worth spending the extra $$ on that stuff vs splurging on the fun appliances ?
@@embersliving I was thinking you might say that :) I may end up doing the same. I have a few months to figure that out! FWIW, they do exactly this on some of the Lynx cooking demos. Just out of curiosity, is your Hestan/Perlick rated as an outdoor refrigerator or just as a commercial unit?
