RSR 3,0 Motor "Lucky Punch", neue Benchmark bei 378 PS / 355 Nm

Mittelmotor setzt mit 378 PS und 355 Nm neue Benchmark beim Porsche 911 RSR 3,0l Motor.
Bei nur 7800 U/min wird bereits die Höchstleistung erreicht und mit einem Spitzendrehmoment von 355 Nm entsprechen die Werte normalerweise einem 3,4l Motor.
Hier werden diese Werte mit nur 3l Hubraum erreicht, einem Motor der auf dem FIA konforrmen 3,0 Carrera/ 3,0 Turbo Motorgehäuse basiert. Es ist ein 3,0l RSR Motor mit Flachschieberanlage, mechanischer RSR Einspritzpumpe, mit Öleinfülldeckel, Doppelzündung, kleinem Lüfterrad und Gebläsering, leichtem RSR Schwungrad und RSR Edelstahl Abgasanlage. Der Motor kann für den Einsatz im DMSB Bereich zusätzlich mit zwei Katalysatoren ausgerüstet werden, die nur ca. 7 PS Spitzenleistung schlucken.

Here, these values ​​are achieved with just 3l displacement, an engine based on the FIA 3.0 Carrera / 3.0 Turbo engine case.
It is a 3,0l RSR engine with slide valve injection, mechanical RSR fuel injection pump (MFI) with the red oil filler cap, twin plug ignition, small fan and housing, RSR stainless steel exhaust system and lighweight RSR flywheel. It can optionally be equipped with two catalytic converters for use within DMSB races, what take around 7 hp only.

Really an impressive engine, great work. Why isn't the numbers on the dyno screen and dyno sheet the same? On the screen its something like 335Nm and 360hp,and in the graph its more. Are the numbers corrected?

The ambient pressure and temperature in the dyno room influence the measuring, what is corrected in the resulting data sheet according to DIN 70020. It finally allows a precise verification although ambient conditions vary.
