Personally, I feel that when at the top of his game, there is literally no other human being on the planet who can beat Stewart in a Supercross race. No one.
+ClusiveC That's because stewart is more reckless than most pros. Its all very well being the fastest, but if you're out injured, or inconsistent BECAUSE of that extra speed, then its not a good strat because its only a matter of time before you mess up. When it works it works well, but James is also known for having some of the biggest blowouts. History cares about results, not speed.
+ClusiveC My son was an amateur racer years ago when James was an amateur. I compare James to Danny "Magoo" Chandler, who was, in my opinion, the greatest motocross rider EVER. What makes James and Danny great is that they will win or they will crash trying to win.
Fact is Stuarts got balls and that makes him cool, no one cares how many points he has, it's just exciting to watch him because you know he's gonna throw down some sick shit! You can have serious and safe RV
Bubba beat all rc records until the 250's.RC rewrote the record books bubba showed you what could really be done on a bike (scrubs and whips) when the sport changed from 2 stroke to 4 stroke it stopped being about raw natural talent and became about who can hold the gas on the longest and not crash. I'm sure others will tell you it takes much less talent to ride a thumper than it does a 2 stroke. I didnt read you're comment because it's too long btw ;)
+Eddie Williams I love how Bubba could beat the 250 4 strokes on the 125 by riding purely on skill. It is the most amazing thing to see him wheelie a straight away and destroy the 4 strokers.
+Xunatic showed a whole diff. Post... But yea it was all about skill back then, bubba would have shattered all RC and mc records if they were still racing 2 strokes. 4 strokes leveled the playing field. That's how ferry and kdub used to beat RC from time to time not taking anything away from their riding ability but times change. Js7 will always be the king of the 2 strokes and the scrub.
You can almost feel how smooth some of their landings are. Also, gives you an amazing perspective of how far they jump. Awesome video! They make it look so easy.
Says alot for the man go hard as u can always.Crash or not you gave 100%. Over a season consistency can win you a title but not the heart of a fan who knew you gave it your all will last forever.Fastest man on the planet#259#7
Gotta love all the haters that say Ryan LET James win, lol yea he's winning the series, but James is still the fastest. Pretty sure he's the only one to triple/single before the finish.....didn't look much faster but he tries awesome lines nobody else will. Killer!
Don't get me wrong, I like Villopoto, but I don't care what anybody says - James Stewart caught Villopoto in a straight on 1v1 battle and destroyed him in this race. I remember watching this live, and RV slipped up after Stewart made that pass. What's funny is that Stewart didn't even touch him. They showed the slowed-down replay and it was a perfect, clean pass with no contact at all.
This GoPro was awesome! I love it, Stewart's shines, he's the underdog and has faced the most adversity, that's why he is my favourite rider, nobody does it like Stewart he can pull off jumps others can't do and scrub like nobody in the sport, his consistency in championships was challenged by Carmichael and injuries due to RAW speed, he rides more than any other rider and has a big heart he changed the sport by being the first African American rider to win a championship in the U.S. So F$&K the Haterz
Since the supercross season was stopped by the corona virus, I'll happily settle for watching cool racing like this. At least it's real racing by truly great racers!
villopoto is fast and consistent. stewart keeps on having problems, crashes, mechanical issues because he keeps on pushing himself beyond what he can do. for me, stewart is still the fastest guy. he keeps on getting the fastest qualifying time in almost every race. and if you noticed, there were more times of stewart passing villo than villo passing stewart. James is way more humble than villopoto.
No you are wrong, Stewart his boost gauge comes on as the race goes, while the others are trying to get an advantage and maintain it. This guy just elevate his game to the competition but he's really not pushing himself beyond what he can do, the talent is there ! Villopoto was first the whole time and Stewart chased him and got the lead on the 11th lap. At the same time he passed villopoto he was way ahead dude.
I usually don't jump on the race card bandwagon but I totally agree. There's so many closet racists in the sport that won't admit they're racists. They just claim they don't like his personality yet they're HUGE Chad Reed fans. Reed was one of the biggest dicks to ever grace the sport. I actually like him now, but in his prime years, he was sneaky shithead that acted like he never did anyone wrong.
Just a freak of nature at riding a dirt bike. Unbelievably fast. I watched him in person at an outdoor national when he was still on the KX125 and he was way out front smoking the 250 four strokes. Seen him come off a big jump and wheelie all the way into the next big jump. He was so dam fast!!!
I think bubba's just finally has things clicking with his team now and feels comfortable with his bike now ..he's never lost his speed just took time to find his ride. Go Stewart huge fan of of yours bro go get 72 home boy you got this man :)
james Stewart brought a whole knew life to motocross...i love RC but i compare every rider to Bubba because nobody rides like him even in outdoors he was fastest. but RC was already a veteran and a beast..
To be honest no one can match the speed these 2 had compared to now no one not even Tomac would be able to hang on the intensity and speed was a lot higher during the villopoto era
Two of the greatest ever. 👍🏽👍🏻😎😎 129 racist morons who were hating on JS7. You know who LOVES JS7? RV1, RD5, RC4, the only guys that really mattered to him. And he loved them back. Haters gonna hate, that's what they do.
If you go back and watch this full replay, Stewart never once touched Villopoto even though it may look like it. The pass was just insane. Ken Roczen tried a pass like this one year, crashed, and damn near ended his career
Sometimes I don't understand these GoPro videos, this one is a perfect example. Stuart is in second but then it shows he is in first Without showing the pass. Then he's in second again but they don't show villopoto passing him. Then he's in first again but they don't show Stewart passing villopoto. Frustrating honestly. What's up?
Its funny to me how everyone here is so blind to the fact that villopoto is way beyond stewarts reach in the championship points. The even funnier one is who's better? Well Championships take wins and consistency to earn. Wins by themselves just show that your good when you want to be. 3 vs 2 Championships and im pretty sure Villopoto is getting a 4th. Lastly Villopoto is only a couple wins away from stewart and stewart is a few years older. PEOPLE LOOK AT THE FACTS!
So he got stuffed in that corner cause his points slowed him down? You can talk about numbers all you want but every time these two go head to head like this Stewart usually comes out on top. RV just knows how to put a championship together better and that's why he's about to get his 4th number one plate. No need to try and bring Stewart down because he beat your favorite rider. Also your definition of a "couple" is much different than mine.
Andre Yanez You are incorrect on a few things. You forgot to add that Ryan has beat James head to head more than you are willing to remember. James in this instance was doing a quad that nobody else was doing. Otherwise if you remove that section he was even with everyone else including Barcia and Roczen. James is an amazing rider and is capable of hauling some serious ass. Just don't be that guy trying to justify their favourite rider. Take it easy.
crunkdragon3 really I'm the one trying to justify a rider? These two hardly ever go head to head like they did here because one or the other is usually injured or gets a bad start. Most races I've seen with them two going at it James wins or RV crashes trying to keep up. And how are you trying to use James' quad against him? Maybe RV should have stepped up and gone for it.. and it doesn't always help James look what happened last week. He cased that quad and RV walked on him. Last race is actually one of the few times I've seen RV outrun James. It really comes down to their different mindsets, RV doesn't mind losing because he is always focused on the big picture. If the points race was closer RV would have to push it more but there's no point in talking what ifs. He put himself in the best position to be the champion. Can't take that away from him.
Andre Yanez Bro... I'm just gonna be honest. I don't care about this flame war so I didn't read your message. let's just agree that motorcycles are awesome and I'll say peace. Peace.
James is one of the few guys who will dump his bike at the start of a race be last and then come back an win it.Amazing rider.A little crazy which in motocross is a prerequisite.
Stewart is making a great run for the championship. He may come up just a little short though due to 4 bad races:/ I'm hoping Villopoto will somehow sit out a round to make this thing really interesting :D Dungey isn't even a part of the championship anymore. He does not have speed or strength he had last year. Hope he gets his act together.
These motocross videos of James Stewart are my absolute favorite of all the gopro videos I've seen man!
When Stewart passes Villopoto on that turn, and the crowd goes wild. I can relate that feeling in Orlando Supercross. I miss those days 😔
+qwerty uiop Does history care about 98 AMA wins? ;D
so true
+qwerty uiop you're an idiot, and to what you said the answer is...no.
+ClusiveC My son was an amateur racer years ago when James was an amateur. I compare James to Danny "Magoo" Chandler, who was, in my opinion, the greatest motocross rider EVER. What makes James and Danny great is that they will win or they will crash trying to win.
I miss Stewart... great that his brother is racing but no body could touch James.
Fact is Stuarts got balls and that makes him cool, no one cares how many points he has, it's just exciting to watch him because you know he's gonna throw down some sick shit! You can have serious and safe RV
Nobody changed the sport like Bubba, the REAL BUBBA #259.
McGrath changed the sport
I love how its like a heads up that you're gonna get passed when the crowd starts to cheer so loud
You can almost feel how smooth some of their landings are. Also, gives you an amazing perspective of how far they jump. Awesome video! They make it look so easy.
James Stewart is the fastest dude on the planet. However he's not consistent.. He takes a lot of risks and some pay off and some don't..
No risk no reward.
Says alot for the man go hard as u can always.Crash or not you gave 100%.
Over a season consistency can win you a title but not the heart of a fan who knew you gave it your all will last forever.Fastest man on the planet#259#7
Risk it for the biscuit my guy
Gotta love all the haters that say Ryan LET James win, lol yea he's winning the series, but James is still the fastest. Pretty sure he's the only one to triple/single before the finish.....didn't look much faster but he tries awesome lines nobody else will. Killer!
What's triple/single?
TheRealBirdmann DUMB
2nd in all times wins
it was for sure a faster line but a little sketchy
Rv was up 30 points that race would u throw it away for a nobody lol. Check youre facts guy.
Thats one of the best inside passes ive seen in a while. These GoPro views are awesome.
How I miss him racing!!
3:56 : Stay behind me kid, I show you how to win.
East Rutherford: "Hey buddy, I'm glad you don't have to see me riding 17 time, I can show you how to be champion in 16 races".
haha be funny if he really whispered that
HE IS BACK!
Don't get me wrong, I like Villopoto, but I don't care what anybody says - James Stewart caught Villopoto in a straight on 1v1 battle and destroyed him in this race. Kx vs suzuki both strong neck on neck bikes lol but honda just gets fucked by these 2 strong bikes
If you looked at the replay ryan fucked it around corner ryan your next training corner faster and make stewart sweat bullets lol
jonathan oxlade all bikes get fucked by the 2015 yz450f
Jordan Pacheco yamaha sucked the kx450 still ranks top lol
jonathan oxlade I ended up buying a 2015 kx450f today lol check my instagram it's jordan_pacheco_
Crazy how loud the crowd gets
Best one yet. Thx GoPro.
2 of the greats in american motocross. Stewart Is my all time favorite rider but Villopoto Wheel tap 0:23 was a thing of beauty
He wheel-tapped that on every lap too.
He had such a unique riding style
This GoPro was awesome! I love it, Stewart's shines, he's the underdog and has faced the most adversity, that's why he is my favourite rider, nobody does it like Stewart he can pull off jumps others can't do and scrub like nobody in the sport, his consistency in championships was challenged by Carmichael and injuries due to RAW speed, he rides more than any other rider and has a big heart he changed the sport by being the first African American rider to win a championship in the U.S. So F$&K the Haterz
Adversity? Is this a race thing again? Because he sure as hell isn't new to this..
Since the supercross season was stopped by the corona virus, I'll happily settle for watching cool racing like this.
At least it's real racing by truly great racers!
Sick! I can't wait for Surfer Cross this year. An event where we get to go head-to-head with other professional motocross racers
Ah man I love the sound of those bikes from a GoPro POV 🤤
3:56 when your so close to winning and the bot in the game passes you 😂😂😂
I cant imagine the rush these guys feel while being absolutely on the limiter and having thousands of people screaming 🤟🏽
3:50 Are crowds as hyped these days? Also, those are some insane rhythm sections.
James Stewart fastest SX rider of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not that consistent though.
accord21 Fast don't mean shit if you don't finish all the races!
SlammedBeretta Regardless, the statement still holds true.
Regardless it doesn't mean anything and it's only true in your head. Just cause you say he's the fastest doesn't make it true.
SlammedBeretta It is true because it is true. It means what it means.
When he gave the riders that just finished a thumbs up, that was awesome. He is showing support no matter who it is
The Flat Paint on Ryan's Helmet Looks Awesome On GoPro !!! no reflection in the shot LOVE IT #gopro
BoomBonikz
JS7 the most skillful, craziest & fearless rider ever.. Love his riding style..
I watched this live and its an even better perspective now :D
these two racing is a 50/50 game, both equally quality riders !
havent watched yet but definitely leaving a like
love these videos!
Who’s watching in 2023?
That was a Crazy Ride! Gotta Love GoPro!!
When James tripled and literally sent it into the face of the finish line jump and still cleared the finish line. That was insane
both Stewart's are class acts.
I was there when this happened it was very entertaining
Great footage ,Go Bubba .Thanks Gopro.
Stewart was awesome. The best.
JAMES STEWART el mejor piloto de la historia
villopoto is fast and consistent. stewart keeps on having problems, crashes, mechanical issues because he keeps on pushing himself beyond what he can do. for me, stewart is still the fastest guy. he keeps on getting the fastest qualifying time in almost every race. and if you noticed, there were more times of stewart passing villo than villo passing stewart. Greatest of all time. Has villapoto went a whole season undefeated yet? I'll wait.
Sports a lot different than it was in 07 bud
Miss these two:(
i swear if bubba was a different colour , he wouldn't have as much haters, ray charles can see that
No kiddin buddy. James will go down in history though. Bless him.
That's why James is the GOAT. He beat the system.
Exactly these krackas hatin

When your rude and think your shit dont stick, people tend to pull for the other guy, GO VILLOPOTO!!!
good bye Villa-Puta and good-bye god-boy Canard. If Barcia was a 'niggah' they'd be yelling at him to quit too.
Why the sound of "full gas" sounds different in suZuki vs kawa. Is the exhaust or engine?
Joe Black maybe because theyre different brands and engines?
STEWART > VILLOPOTO
Suzuki vs the kx both go head to head but the kx is more powerful ryan needs to take more risk
@@jonathanoxlade4252 4 years later but are you dumb
Amazing talent on the bike but unfortunately he always has offs.

ryan villopoto
Both great riders. respect
I think bubba's just finally has things clicking with his team now and feels comfortable with his bike now ..he's never lost his speed just took time to find his ride. Go Stewart huge fan of of yours bro go get 72 home boy you got this man :)
I like reading this kind of thoughtful comment..!
That's right show him how it's done
Two of my favourite riders In the same race FUCK YEAH!
BADDEST MAN EVER TO RACE MOTOCROSS. 🏁🏁🏁🏁
Збс! Я б поучаствовал))
Duel au sommet ! Magnifique
So siiiick amazing racing
All the dislikes must be riders who lost to bubba over the years lol!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
the boss!!!! don't retire just yet js7 ur the reason I get up early on a sunday in the uk!! lol
james Stewart brought a whole knew life to motocross...i love RC but i compare every rider to Bubba because nobody rides like him even in outdoors he was fastest. but RC was already a veteran and a beast..

Very cool!! Nice up close pass by Stew!!!

RV1, RD5, RC4, the only guys that really mattered to him. And he loved them back.
Haters gonna hate, that's what they do.
That's the JS7 I know, riding that bike like he used to back in the day.
Back when almost every round was sold out
Why don’t they make tracks like this nowadays
honestly would be scared to be on the same track as stewart being a points leader.
I held my breath when stew tripled that double double. Man he had instinct to truck through!!!!
Still love his crashes and face plants. Excellent rider. No I am not a hater but he did a lot of them.
great race :P
