Honestly Amy would be an amazing youth group or small group leader. The way she talks about God and her relationship with Him is just so relatable and like easy to understand. She just has such a good way with words! Great advice!

UGH. My favorite episode so far 🥺 I think it could be fun to have episodes every once in a while that include just a few members of the band! :) I think y’all have mentioned that you have received some comments in the past criticizing the fact that you all tend to talk over each other (and y’all have defended this bc you’re used to that dynamic being part of a big family). BUT for me personally, it’s nice to be able to hear your longer complete thoughts. As an audience member, I wanna have some eeeeeeasy listening while listening to a podcast, ya know? It personally stresses me out if I notice any family tension or multiple interruptions and incomplete thoughts. I think there’s a time and a place for those types of conversations! But feel free to disagree with me and reply to this comment if you’re a viewer who likes their rambly style :) thanks for coming to my ted talk 🙃
I agree! I like the podcast but don't listen to it super often because it's not very calm lol even if the topics and talks are great. Loved this episode where I could hear their full thoughts! Still, ofc I understand where it comes from and that it's just their dynamic. I personally just find it hard to listen to sometimes, even if the conversation itself is interesting.
I really live for kath's advices. So much wisdom and conviction in them all. "Go where you're wanted" really hit me, because it's true. You will put yourself through more pain trying to win love from people that keep rejecting you. At that point when you realise they just don't want you around, it's best to show yourself some self respect by keeping your distance.

What does it mean?
@@cuca_ To my knowledge this is what it means: The word “love” is one of the sloppiest words in our language, as it primarily refers to a feeling that happens to a person. But in the New Testament of the Bible, “love” refers to a way of treating people that was defined by Jesus himself: seeking the well-being of others regardless of their response. That’s agape love.

Lauren, when I hear you speak about how you feel when you're disconnected from God, remember that we are always called to read His word no matter what. It's what we are commanded to do as Christians.
For anyone feeling discouraged or in need of reconnection with Him, remember there you will always find truth in scripture! God gave us the beautiful gift of knowledge and He provided The Bible for us to learn from! If you feel disconnected, stop and reflect on your own actions.
- Are you taking care of your soul by reading His word daily?
- Are you guarding your heart by surrounding yourself with loving people?
- Are you going to church and serving in it as we are called to do as a family in Christ?
- Are you constantly repenting and forsaking sin? Therefore being mindful of the conviction the Holy Spirit brings when we sin?
I encourage anyone who is struggling to call Him out and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. God will show you His mercy and love! And never forget the truth there is in His promises.

Hilariously, in Cajun French "Pauvre" means "Poor". It's normally said as "Pauvre bete!" (pronounced Pauve - Bet) which means "Poor baby!" The whole time Amy was talking about y'alls P.O.V. it sounded like she kept saying "Our Pauvre" and I was like, "Wait - their poor what!? What is going on!? Is everyone ok!?" I guess Pauvre Chad, I hope he feels better soon!

Actually I think when you feel distant from God , that is only a feeling..it isn't real.. because God never moved away from you..it's only the lies of the devil and the thoughts in your mind..that is making u feel distant and because of which u stay away from God.. so when u find t hardest to pray..u need to pray your hardest..Lord is right next to you .
