The Big Front Seat on Spirit airlines is worth every penny especially for longer flights. You will easily pay 3X for a round trip first class ticket on any major competitor airline. The Big Front Seat is a secret gem in modern air travel.

TOO secret if you ask me makes me wonder why many Spirit flights only have two rows of the seats.
Flying has become incredibly barbaric with Airlines, including Spirit, cramming more and more seats on board.
Over height or oversized passengers flying standby are usually jammed into middle seats, often with arms or legs touching or even overlapping mine.
It is kind of a learned art, managing the etiquette of confining oneself within the allotted personal space aboard a plane or a bus or a train.
Few people can do it. Most people don’t even try. You have the tiniest amount of personal space, within a seat apparently designed for a petite Asian woman, and your fellow passengers are constantly encroaching upon it.
That makes Spirit’s big front seat a bargain at any price. I’m actually surprised more people don’t use this upgrade.
I always said I will never fly Spirit. However, when coming home from LAX, I booked Spirit with a Big front seat because the departure time was convenient for me. I was very comfortable during the 5+ flight and would consider it again.

FYI: bringing aromatic foods like pizza on board public transport is considered rude. Ideally, you’ll want to bring things that don’t give off an intense smell, like cold sandwiches, chips, etc.
I was once on a flight where some guy brought, I kid you not, a homemade tray of curry goat. Stunk up the whole plane.
But, seriously, people with fragrance sensitivity can become nauseous, and then you’d really have an odor problem on board.

I did consider Spirit to Lima Peru, but I decided on JetBlue instead. If I do go on Spirit someday, it will be on the Big seat..for sure! Great review!

Trying to decide between this and JetBlue for a trip to Vegas from NY. These look like they offer the best aspects of business class at about half the price.
I was really comfy in this chair. It’s like seating on the couch. They don’t have fancy food service tho.. Also, have downloaded entertainment 👍
What no one ever mentions or tells you is that even after you pay for the Big Front seat...the seats don't Recline! Horrible.

Liar, I work for Spirit and I do sell Big Front Seats every single day, and I assure you that they recline perfectly. I do know they are not the best airline in the world but you are stating a BIG LIE.
I got it one time just by doing the random signing in at the airport kiosk. Did not realize it till I boarded. It did not cost extra and the plane was full. Made my 3 hr .flight better because I am 6 ft. 5.

Still... No matter how much you pay, the SEATS DON'T RECLINE! That is why I don't pay for Comfort Seats! Same seats with fake leather with just enough cushion to charge more!

@@chrisortega8813 no coz the configuration is 2:2 unless it’s ok and u r able to reserve 3 seats clustered or in a row. It’s still somewhat together
Hi, could you tell me if they weighed your hand luggage? We are flying a domestic leg with them but all previous flights are business and paying for extra carry on is really expensive. Just wondered how it was. Great video , we will definitely book bigger seats

When I tried the free Wi-Fi during this time, it was only good for chats. Streaming has to be paid. I heard it was still pretty bad for $2.99. Perhaps it’s time to get another flight for an update.

It’s not free anymore other than the flight map and spirit website. It was deeply discounted during the testing phase, but now you have to pay if you want to surf the internet or steam movies. The price varies based on flight duration

Trust me, Spirit is the worst. Stay away at all costs. 6+ hours delay in Las Vegas for a 1 hour flight. Plus, they lie to you.

oh ok, you might have not like the editing style that has a lot of transitions.. My cam is top of the line (Sony alpha with G lens). I mention on the first minute that I just dropped it from my last trip in Death Valley. Will lessen the transitions next time & work on stabilization.
