I'll never get tired of this man in a hot dog suit trying to be rich. I hope you'll combine all The money he's ever gotten from these and build an actual House for him :D
I created a sandbox for my toddler in San Sequoia and was surprised that I can search for seashells. I was even more surprised when I realised that my toddler made a lot of money :D
Lilsimsie, can you do a video ranking Stanley’s get-rich-quick schemes? Like what are the best and which were the worst for playing, earning, etc. I think it would be fun
The cave is where you're supposed to get the seaweed that turns you into a mermaid (you can also get it from the reward store or scuba diving I think?). That being said, I've never managed to get it from there. Always opt for buying it.
You have to have your sim do it so many freaking times to get the Mermaid Kelp. I have a semi-super sim that doesn't need to sleep or go the bathroom, so I took him there and just had him keep going in over and over again. I did manage to get the kelp.
Digging for seashells is a *fantastic* side hustle for a couple reasons: you can do it on any patch of sand in any world (including sand boxes on your home lot), AND *even toddlers can do it*. Yes, you can make your toddlers earn their keep.
She's already shown that you very easily can when the pack came out. She just didn't do a whole Stanley video on it and I'd assume that's because it was pretty much proved there.
Dude i feel that annoyance the fears. My gardener witch sim got eaten by a cow plant in the beginning so she couldn't do anything involving plants. She couldn't even harvest wild plants or water hers
Yeah most of the time the fears make no sense at all. They just suddenly are afraid of the most ridiculous things. Like when the system first came out it was absolutely terrible.. sims would have fears of a dead end job even though they're actively progressing in it or even maxed out.. they'd have like fears of being judged even though nothing has happened to them. Not to mention you can't even set these things at all. I'd love to be able to set that my sim just always has a fear of being judged and make it possible to get rid of that fear but for it to be hard to do. Getting rid of fears is stupidly easy.. like to get rid of the fear of swimming you just need to be confident then go swim and it's gone. If you actually have a fear of something just doing it once while confident means nothing. I feel like it should be a "skill" you build up to get rid of it.
@@Eventide215to be fair the random “fear of judgement” is accurate to real life, I find it funny you want it to be harder to get rid of fears, while I find myself using UI cheats to cheat it away😭😭
Oooh okay I love that idea, and to build on that, because some of those collections can take a lot of time and effort, what if it was a Stanley legacy sort of deal, and all the heirs' names would have to start with Stan- like Stanford, Stanthony, Stanuel, Stanexander, Stannifer, Stanfany, etc etc...
You can also get shells, treasures, AND underwater prints from diving. I have a mermaid sim that I entirely fund her life through diving, ESPECIALLY since mermaids don’t need the really expensive diving equipment, only the much cheaper camera, knife, and spear.
Island Living is one of my favorite packs almost purely because of how pretty I think the world is. I'm also biased because I really just like mermaids and everything beachy, so this was a fun video for me.
I like when you do these because we get to learn about some of the more obscure things you cand do in the sims. I didn't even know you could beach comb or that there were collectibles in Sulani- recently I learned that you can watch baby turtles hatching in Sulani and if you swim enough in the ocean, a shark might appear.
It always seems to me that sims youtubers dont seem to know that there are ways to help the fears - for this one they just need to swim whilst confident and it goes away
It's not really told to you whatsoever that you can get rid of fears. Also, the fears seem to pop up from the dumbest things. Like literally nothing has happened to Stanley while swimming but he suddenly gets a fear of it for no reason. I think most people just disable fears because it's done terribly.
@@Eventide215 I see what you're saying but if you just hover over the fear it tells you how to get rid of it. You also get the fears if your sim is in a bad mood and does something- so because Stanley was in a bad mood and he swam he was then scared I think.
I feel like it's not that they don't know that u can get rid of fears but most probably just because it's makes it inconvenient and it's annoying to overcome sometimes
