  • Whose blood is in the van and why was it burned? The Los Angeles Innocence Project wants to know if victim #LaciPeterson's DNA is on the stained mattress found in the burned vehicle. Advancement in DNA testing gives the LAIP hope that they can prove #ScottPeterson did not commit the murder of his wife and unborn child.

He used ammonia from his fertilizer factory (Modesto warehouse) to clean up the crime scenes. The cadaver dog _Twist_ kept inconclusively alerting inside the Modesto warehouse storage space. GUILTY This is why *the appeal will not be held in public* Because forensic scientists do *not* want the effectiveness of ammonia as a crime scene _cleaning agent_ to be wilfully broadcast to the entire effing world.

he legally has a right to appeal and he's already behind bars. he's been behind bars. there was a huge uproar where I am when a murderer was set free, a serial killer. at some point, you just cant dwell on it. peace comes from within. he may be innocent, but theres evidence suggesting otherwise. I recall a case years ago where the wrong man was sent to prison for murder and the family hated the wrong guy for over 20 years, could you imagine how it would feel to know you hated the wrong person who didn't kill your daughter and now you need to learn to forgive him... some shame came with that. let me tell you something about peace. I once lived next door to a prison, i literally drove by it multiple times a week. police patrolled daily. they even held an open house (did not see prisoners) but you actually were on their compound. I never feared living next to hundreds of prisoners and the court house and they went to prison for all kinds of things

The MPD didn't care about the evidence, tips and sightings that points in a completely different direction. The media spun everything and that's the way police wanted it.
He was seen at the marina by three people. Does it sound logical that a guy is going to kill his wife and take the chance of dumping her body in broad daylight. He needs to back the boat down the ramp and leave it there for anyone to see in broad daylight including anyone from the hundreds of people that live on their boats all year round.
There was no forensic evidence, eyewitnesses, video surveillance etc ever proving the States theory. Even the SF Medical examiner (Boyd Stephens) explained to the lead detective that it would be highly unlikely that 32 lbs would submerge the body. It would just float. He also said the currents would likely take the body out to sea. She was found nearly 4 months later. How do currents flowing Southbound at 4 knots place either body where they were found.
-Conner (baby) was determined to be alive until Jan 3rd by both the States expert and the Medical examiner? Furthermore, Dr Charles March testified there is no way that Scott and Laci Peterson's unborn baby could have died any earlier than Dec. 29, 2002. Dr Allison Galloway determined the baby could have even been alive as far along as Jan 14th.
-Conner was found above the high tide line and water break.
-The baby's left ear was permanently flattened against the head and a rectangular piece of material was over his ear.
-Plastic wrap knotted around his neck that had to be cut off, not far from a plastic bag which was never tested.
-The criminologist and medical examiner, both concluded that the twine could not have wrapped around Conner’s neck accidentally. Dr. Cyril Wecht noted, "never in a million years."
-Laci had a missing neck that is not consistent with any known disarticulation in aqueous environments.
-Laci's uterus was at least 10 cm (3.9") smaller than it should have been, explaining why the incision to remove Conner was not visible on her body, and the injured 9th rib, postmortem injury is in the same location where such an incision would have been made.

I have to think the majority of the time, it's not ending in murder. But he said Laci knew about that, calling bs on that. The behavior at the vigil is not that of a grieving spouse. Selling all of Laci's things is odd. I just have a hard time finding this guy innocent. If he is, he sure did a good job of behaving like a guilty man.

However he told his mistress his wife was dead, he didn’t go out of his way to help the police and he was even getting ready to disappear before he was arrested. Even if he was just cheating on her, if he truly had nothing to do with her death he still would have been beside himself with grief at the idea that his unborn child was missing.
