Thanks for the video. I have a 2010 Expedition that has a broken inside door handle. You just saved me $200 in labor that would have gone to Ford. As an aside, I found from another video have the handle mechanism can be popped out without taking the complete panel off. Thanks again.

Thanks a lot for the video. The only problem I had was when I was putting the panel back on the door. I was having trouble lining up the door lock button so I used a small hammer to tap out the decorative sleeve, the panel went right on, and I put the sleeve back in place. It doesn't get much easier than this with the help of your video.

Thanks ,just changed out my mirror after some idiot rammed my mirror off in a open parking lot,I parked away from others too,this guy was lucky I wasn't close enough to catch him.Thanks again as the garage labour alone would have been at least $100 or more,I got the Power mirror for $100 used in good shape and it works well,have a great day from Toronto Canada.

Thanks - just replaced my regular mirrors with tow mirrors on my 2010 F150 Lariat. Just a tip - I found it easier to put the panel back on with the door in the unlock position.

I swapped the passenger mirror on my 2011 f150 XLT. 3 bolts are holding the mirror (11mm) and 4 screws holding the door panel (2 bottom were 6mm, 2 on top under the plastic covers were 8mm).

This is a hell of alot easier than the 2004-2008 year models... had to take all kinds of stuff apart to get the door panel off.. speaker had to come out, had to disconnect all the switches prior to lifting out.

I have a 2009 STX F150 without turn signals. I notice that it had the turn signal wires to the mirror if anyone is interested in up grading to mirrors with turn signals. However, the upgraded mirrors are about a $100 more per mirror.

Very easy. You can use a cheap paint can opener to remove the black plastic piece behind the handle. Also, do not remove the inside mirror insulation because there is enough room to unclip the old mirror from the outside.

I completed all the steps just fine until it came to screw the panel back on, realized the thread for the screw behind the door handle fell into the door. Don’t know where to go from there.
