I've been using my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) daily for 10-yrs without issues. I did replace the battery once, a couple of years ago. But, it is time for a new MacBook - which I've already ordered.
7-10 years and even beyond if you don't mind a little obsolete technology. I'm an android user but as far as laptops are concerned no windows laptop comes even close to Macbooks as far as built quality is concerned, even the ones that cost double the Macbooks. MacOS too in my opinion is very good and better than windows.
@@ElaMegwhenzIt has better performance due to the optimization, but as time goes by, the m3 chip will be optimized, besides this model will provide you 1 more OS update. So I think if you can afford this, it could be an interesting option.
