I love this series you're doing, mostly because it's the side of WA that I'm most familiar with and really enjoy...so thank you very very much! This vid made me really want revisit Cape Flattery (only been there once on a spontaneous adventure & with a hurt ankle, so I wasn't able to walk the trail to see the best part of the area)! I admire & appreciate your positive attitude & good vibes you always send thru your vids...keep that up! Look forward to seeing more as always! Keep up the awesomeness my friend! 🤙😊🤙
Awww thank you very much, as always it’s my pleasure. Being able to connect with individuals such as yourself and watch our community grow simply means the world! Sorry to hear about the bum ankle on your initial visit. Even with a short hike that would be no fun. Hopefully with the weather getting nicer you guys can get back out there for some stunning views unlike the beautiful rain I encountered haha. Thank you for all your continued support!!! 😊
@@ConquestOverland I can imagine how great it feels to have that connection with your viewers! Just keep doing what you doing, be your amazing self, & have fun! 😉 Haha thanks & like you say, when the weather is better maybe we'll make our way there again. I love the rain, but not walking in it 😜 lol! And your capture of Cape Flattery was beautiful even with the rain! 👍🏻😀👍🏻
Ha ha, 3pm in January in the PNW! Most folks won't realize you only have about an hour of sunlight left! Scouting the area is a great idea. I've been out there over a dozen times but I find there are very few decent dispersed camping spots on the NE corner of the peninsula as well as between Quinalt & Lake Crescent. Kalaloch & Hoh are likely going to be full in the nice weather. There are some good primitive FS sites around the Quinalt area.
You're right it's a little harder to find spots in that area, usually why I make it part of the journey vs. a destination spot. There is simply so much to explore on the peninsula, think we've barely scratched the surface on the available forest roads!
@@ConquestOverland Yeah, unfortunately, all the private logging land there (plus tribal land) makes the options more limited than one would anticipate.
Hey I appreciate it, thank you! It’s a fun challenge recording out there, specially on solo trips haha. I’m glad to see our community growing, thank you again for the support! 👊🏼
Brian! What's going on, so great to hear from you! Thank you so much. It's a fun setup and definitely kept us warm and dry through through many adventures. Hope you've been well!
Great Great Videos! Wife and I have been binge watching them in order kinda.. We new to Overland Adventures but we love to travel and see new things. Thank you for your Videos..
That’s awesome to hear, thank you much for the support! Glad it’s binge watch worthy haha 😉 Are you located here in Washington? If so there are plenty of opportunities for future travels! Best part you don’t any fancy gear to enjoy it all. Thanks for reaching out and following along in our travels!
@@ConquestOverland no we're in Texas. Between Dallas and Oklahoma. There's a lot of adventure here but we're already making a bucket list just from your videos.
There you go, just make a list and overtime you’ll be surprise how much you can accomplish! But awesome to see our community growing all the way from Texas, very exciting!
Thank you so much! There’s so much to see on this side. Each weekend you’ll ask yourself: oceans, mountains, lakes, etc. always something new to see! 👊🏼
I’m telling you man! You’re doing everything right. Do not change anything! People will always connect with you when you’re true to yourself my friend. I’m a big fan!
I really appreciate it! Means the world when I can connect with individuals such as yourself. Love seeing our community grow and watching others take on adventures of their own. Thank you! 🙏🏼
Great videos! I found your channel by accident and was was happy to see all of the Olympic Peninsula footage. We live west of Port Angeles and have been exploring and camping with our pop top Alaskan Camper for the last 8 years. I just subscribed, keep up the great work! 👍
I really enjoy watching your videos. Great work! Was wondering if you knew if the first spot by the river is fished? Would you mind sharing what river that was? Would be a perfect place to camp and fish with the family.
Thank you very much for the support! Being that this site was an established campground, be happy to share! I stayed at the Hoh Ox Bow Campground little ways south of Forks. Definitely check it out, absolutely beautiful there. When I stayed, there was a family fishing down on the bank below so I would imagine it's okay to do so. I would say just check with fish and game ahead of time to ensure.
This is a good video .. My home the Olympic Peninsula and Port Angeles , WA .. well done .. As a suggestion for you , when you are along side rivers looking for a place to set up , name the river if you would that would be helpful .. Some look as though i have been to that site but doesn't look quite right for me to call it .. You do well, good camera work ..
Thank you very much for the support. I give hints a clues in most episodes though try not to give exact locations as I find this to be part of the adventure when one goes out and explores on their own! 👍
@@ConquestOverland yes that's very true.. I kinda picked up on that a little.. When I put up a picture 85% of the viewers want to know , where is this.?. The thing I like to do in my back yard so to speak where a lot of my exploring is..
Great stuff brotha! Loving the awesome visuals of your journey! Question if I may ask, do you mind sharing your camp location by the river? I would love to take my Wife and daughter there. 🤙🏽
For sure, being that it was simply a campground don’t mind sharing at all! Heading north towards Forks on the 101, it’s the Hoh Ox Bow Campground. Nice little area with sites decently spaced apart, you and the family will love it. You can walk right down to the river and have a great time! Venturing there in the off season though is well worth it. Appreciate the support, thank you! 👊🏼
Hey , really like your vids, just subscribed, question: What awning do you have, and where did you get it! Thanks! Also live in Washington, Issaquah, maybe I will run into you on the road some day, you have given me some nice options for this summer, thanks!!
Thank you so much for the support!! I have the Rhino Rack Foxwing 270 degree awning. It’s unfortunately their older model and they have since upgraded into a better one called the Batwing. With this one the poles are integrated INTO the awning, not separate, super cool!! 👊🏼 I’m frequently up that direction for my install appointments at Mule Outfitters, I’m sure we’ll cross paths one day soon! Thanks again for reaching out and have fun out there!
Congrats man
I have been in some of those places .
Right on! The Peninsula has so many incredible places to check out!

Looks like the Hoh.

It was too perfect of a setting not to grab some extended nature shots. Love visiting the WA coast! Thank you for the support, really means a lot!

Very much looking forward to this summer, big plans are in the work!!
Loving this stuff! I personally use a mr heater buddy connected to a tank
Thank you so much! Those heaters are still on my list to get, thankfully this trip wasn’t “too” cold or else I would have wished for one haha.

Drove by the turnoff last for Cape Flattery last year but didn’t go :-(
Oh no! Definitely keep it on the list though to check out in the near future, such a beautiful area!
Great video. I would love to hear natural and not the music. Keep it up !
Trying to incorporate more of that in the recent episodes, always learning and experimenting the fine balance. Thank you for the support! 👍🏼
