I commented awhile back on one of the lives asking for advice about not having enough money to upgrade equipment. Well, I put my head down and got to work and ended up saving enough to buy a soft wash box, and have gotten off to an amazing start! Have like $15,000 on the books for the first part of the year. Already have surpassed my income made from last year by jobs on the books! Super glad I listened to the advice and just got to work
I have a prominent disclaimer on my estimates regarding water spots on windows. It says that if a customer purchases pressure washing, soft washing, or roof washing, their windows are likely to get wet. If they're concerned about water spots, they should consider adding on a window cleaning service. This is also a great way to upsell the service to customers that aren't aware that I clean windows. Hershey squirts.
I always tell customers I am not a window cleaning company and that I am not responsible for water spots. I also have this on my terms and conditions page.
I disagree with a nice hot sunny day when doing a roof wash. Because from my experience you put the chemical on the roof and evaporates once it hits it cuz it's so damn hot. You actually have to cool it down with the hose. I prefer it to be overcast and that always gives me great results. Because the chemical is not evaporating. But I guess to each their own
@BRExteriorPro what you share has been my experience also. In fact, I’d *MUCH* rather work on a cooler roof than super hot. Dwell time can be longer, as the blend will remain liquified longer - increasing its effectiveness. Also I feel there’s less chance of damaging shingles or causing excessive granular loss due to blazing heat + a hot mixture - especially on older roofs.
i have a question, I am starting a power washing business in mexico where all houses are made of cement, and roofs are flat, when power washing a house isn’t it posible for its paint to be damaged?
What website company would you suggest I hire to build my website? Also, what is your personal pressure washing business website? I'm curious to see what your website looks like. Thanks and great content as always keep up the good work Justin!

Yeah it can go either way. I’ve just seen better results when it’s sunny
