- PlayStation VR2 can now be used to play your SteamVR games using the PlayStation VR2 PC Adaptor. In this video we talk you through setup and explain how to use PS VR2 on PC. What SteamVR game will you play on your PS VR2 first?
To use PSVR2 on PC you will need the PlayStation VR2 PC adapter, a DisplayerPort 1.4 cable and Bluetooth 4.0 or later to connect to the Sense Controllers. The set up steps are easy - just follow our handy guide and you can try PSVR2 Half Life Alyx for yourself!
In order to use the PSVR2 PC adapter your PC will need the minimum requirements:
Operating system: Windows 10 64bit / Windows 11 64bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-7600 / Ryzen 3 3100 (Zen2 or later architecture is required)
RAM / Memory: 8GB or more
GPU / Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or later (Turing or later architecture is required) | NVIDIA RTX series | AMD Radeon RX 5500XT or later | AMD Radeon RX 6500XT or later. For best performance, we recommend that you use an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600XT graphics card
DisplayPort: DisplayPort 1.4 - must have a standard DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort output port
USB: Direct connection only
Bluetooth: Bluetooth 4.0 or later

If you have a GPU with a virtual link port then you don't need it
I managed to order one the day after launch buying direct from PlayStation. That's probably your best chance, just check there daily. I wasn't spam refreshing the site or anything, just checked when I got home from work and it was back in stock.
Use track-a-lacker or now in stock to set up notifications when its in stock. Got a text about Best Buy being in stock and managed to get one

So glad it can finally be used for Pc. Half Life Alyx, Fallout 4 and Skyrim vr would be some of the first games I would try out if I had a powerful enough pc.
Skyrim VR is on PlayStation if you have one. It's epic. You haven't seen those mountains until you've stood in front of them.
@@Shepherd_Tallon have over 250 hours on Skyrim vr on the Psvr1, it was one of my absolute favourite vr games even with it’s technical limitations on that headset. I would love to play it again but I sold my Psvr1.
I already loved my PSVR2 on PS5 (despite the comparably limited library) and now Ill be happy to use it as my main PC headset too. (Was using a Quest 2 but PSVR2 is superior IMHO)
Bring Half-Life: Alyx and Fallout 4 VR to PS5 please. 🙏
You should ask Valve if they want. My guess is that Sony asked to bring HL Alyx to PS5 but who knows.

A gaming PC with tripple Monitor setup is a basic must have. Even if you don't play much. LoL
Eurogamer made a video of this also, for people, that want's to buy it right away, maybe wait abit, it has some issues at the moment, with Bluetooth.
Bluetooth issues are completely irrelevant to whether this adapter works. The adapter works.
Fallout 4vr is still broken. So don’t blame the headset.

Apparently yes but you'll need need an adapter for the displayport to whatever is on your laptop, not sure what ports its compatible with though

To be honest it's one of the cheaper headsets with better graphics
Last week it went on ahuge sale, like 150 quid off msrp. Presumably because they made too many units and were trying to shift more. Think it's back up now though.

Can I use a USB-C to display port cable on the adapter? Because I have a laptop and that's the only way it would be possible
I have the reference - AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX with Type-C(1), DisplayPort(2) & HDMI(1). Ironically I can get video signal to work off the GPU type-C Port but I can't get the headset to calibrate or work properly with controllers. Seems to be a software glitch. iVRy drivers work for direct type-C GPU video signal but I'm stuck with both Sony and iVRy drivers not working to calibrate controllers or set play space. Seems like this should be the GPU that works the best, but it seems to be the worst. Tried a couple of Nvidia GPU. The Nvidia 4090 & 4060 Ti GPU both work with the Sony drivers and just limited buggy problems. Can't seem to find any AMD Magic for Sony drivers even using the Sony PSVR2 PC Adapter instead of type -C.
FYI - I'm not having any issues with Bluetooth the controllers. I'm using computers' motherboard Bluetooth no problem.
The display port being sold separately is so dumb because not everyone is gonna have one lying around
WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?
My PC doesn't see controllers. They're both charged and have the latest drivers. Other devices are pairing via Bluetooth well. But it's just refusing to see sense controllers.
I don't have a gaming PC because I have limited space and I also don't understand them. The only thing I'd like is Skyrim VR to be compatible with PS VR2 because I never got to experience it on PSVR.
Can we do this on a laptop?

Please fix Bluetooth problem. Controller keeps losing track and disconnecting. Builth in Bluetooth 4.2
It doesn't even have backwards compatibility with PS VR1 games though. Also they should really have more features to justify the high cost
I imagine it's not backwards compatible because PSVR2 uses a completely different style of tracking to the PSVR1. PSVR1 use out-in tracking, which is where external sensors like the PS camera look for your headset and controllers. The PSVR2 however used in-out tracking, which is where sensors on the headset and controllers sense the environment around them without need for external sensors. This means that on a technical level PSVR1 games would require all their tracking based code reworked entirely making it too expensive for most developers to port.

So in love with my psvr2 since day1. Actually picked up a second one recently so I have a dedicated one for pc, and for some multiplayer :)
How about you skip all of those steps and buy a PS5 instead…

@@jasonhearn5818 I only have ps vr2 and there is no adapter for this, in the ps5 itself I can not watch videos in 3d, the helmet is already a year and a half old and this function has not appeared - outrageous
