Nice job on this I really like the 4k footage. Maybe you can answer this for me. I uploaded some test footage in 4K to youtube and it came out fine but youtube only created the 2160, 1440 and 360 resolutions they didn't give options for 1080 and 720 like yours does. Any idea why did you have any issues with it?
+Jason Scarboro Hmmm, well I am using Adobe Pro CC, it has a preset to export the video footage in 4K specifically for youtube. I think the issue you're experiencing is due to iMovie. Another thing to mention (you probably already know this), once you upload the video you need to wait a few hours for youtube to compile the video and make it playable in the different resolution settings. Hope that helps.
+Explore Calabria I don't think it's iMovie though because they have a priest set for 4K uploads straight to RUclips as well. I left it over night and still did not see the other versions generated. I'm gonna go ahead and shoot my film in 4K and see what happens.
+Jason Scarboro Yeah, give it a go. You can always down scale to 1080P. The iMovie preset you used, what frame rate does it export at? On Adobe Pro its 25 fps. I started on iMovie but quickly found it limiting.
+Jason Scarboro try to download final cut pro from utorrent, it might fix your problem! Also it works much better than iMovie and you don't have to wait every time you upload a video to the program. Just click import and the file is there ready to edit.
