cheap Portable Butane Gas Torch/ fire blow Gun review

- This a quick look at one of the cheapest butane gas burners that I found on ebay and bought for only AU $4.74
listed under the title:
Outdoor Portable Ignition Butane Gas Torch Gun Lighter Welding BBQ Flame Burner
I have the torch. It is superb for the price. It can do bronze brazing. However, it does not have a regulator, so don't get liquid butane into the orifice or it will flare. Not a major problem once the butane level goes down slightly.
I had same thing as yours, yes it really sensitive if you not preheat first, and use like a small torch lighter that had blue flame compare to match if you using a match put the match slight below the nozzle and like 2 or 3 cm from nozzle, put too close to nozzle make fire run crazy
Just a tip: don't tilt the can from upright. Butane cylinders don't have regulators so they will spray cold liquid butane if tilted during the first minute or so during use. It stops doing that as the liquid level in the can drops.
Also, the air inlet on the brass piece attached to the steel tube is adjustable. Turn it to adjust the air to fuel ratio to improve the jet stability. As the torch gets warmer, the air to fuel mixture needed to sustain the torch flame reduces so you open the air vents to allow more oxygen through.
Thank you for the video, it was pretty cool. Maybe more technical stuff on these sort of products in the future?
I beg my pardon. I just rewatched the video and realised that the oxygen inlet is not adjustable. Try turning down the butane twist knob instead.
Yes you are right! I tried the adjustment screw and still it flared up like a flamethrower! You can turn it down on the main valve but still flares up! Keep it upright!
At 4:47, the jet is blocked, gas is trapped between the blocked nozzle and the valve, resulting in a small release of gas when you re-opened the valve. Clean the jet. As I understand it the butane has tiny particles which can block the jet.
what is the difference between this one and the flame gun in your other video with ignition other than the ignition and which one is better for brazing
Your supposed to rotate the black tab at the base of the torch to lock it in place before you use it.
I did lock it, otherwise if would fall off
Is it light duty stuff? Will I be able to fire polish 4 to 6mm glass sheets or around 3sq.feet?
Preheat the torch for around 2 minute first before moving it side way or 360.. After 2 minute you can use it and turn it 360 degre..
thanks for the advice, will try that next time
Brilliant advice, THANK YOU ...I didn’t know that either. 🤘🏼
So quick question...it’s leaking when I attach the nozzle to the butane canister...obviously flames come out. Any advice (other than buying a new one, unless that’s the only advice possible). Thank you. X
Thanks for the advice.
Is there any chance of it blowing up in my face?
If so what can I do to prevent that
Give me back my 7 minutes
Thank you
Torches normally need to burn for 2mins, to warm up, before you start using it and changing the angle of the torch. Perhaps that's what was wrong.
I guess you could call it a lamp if put it next to your Lazy boy chair and uses as a lamp as you read a paper book next to it since its probably brightest spot lol.
LoL
Mine works perfectly! Until I tilt it! Lol. It turns into a flamethrower! Fine adjustment screw does almost nothing as well. The best gas is the butane with a small portion of propane from camping stores! Even then a pain in the rear!
where can i buy that
Wow man, I hope you didn't burn it in the house?! 😳
And that's how it died ''wow what a reliable torch''
Not worth the money
Due to lack of oxygen supply it's burning is incomplete.. You have to use it outdoor
i need it
I bought the same gas torch, and to be honest, it is kinda good so far for its price, but it's a thing to do with fire that's made in China, so I am definitely not confident about its safety or quality, simply because it's made in China.. My advice would be to remove the turch burner after use, and not let it be on the can, it does leak in small amounts and is not at all made with precision as far as the control knob is concerned.. Take usual precautions when operating it, ventilated area, oven mits if not full on fireproof gloves and a fire extinguisher handy if possible.. =)
How is the torch doing that you bought after two years? Still working?
Brother from where can I buy the torch from mansehra now please inform me about this

Whenevr you hear the word 'cheap' for any product, remember it is an American (short sighted) who is refereing to a non-American (branded) manufactured product!

Your doing it the wrong way
Always read the instructions dude... Allow the device to warm up for couples of second.. before tilting it..! Cheaper content though 😉👎👎👎😉
Worst demonstration of blow Torch, something wrong with manufacturing of Quality Control department, regulatory Valve not functioning adequately as you’re required, flame is all over can not controlled as a Pencil line pin point flame required on a object in a narrow spaces, manufacturer should provide three different attachments very fine thin pin point flame medium and a wider sparser nozzles for different jobs
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 wasted product...
very cheap Chinese quality, it only works properly half the time
Abe Jab angreji Nahin Aata Kyon bolata Hai
