The direction of a torch is sideways as opposed to upwards, and the area of the flame is greater and hotter. Even if the torch produced a flame that was 1200 C, it would' still transfer about 3 times the heat into the target; because of flame volume / force. The force of the gas wanting to come out as opposed to the fumes of lighter fluid. Make that 1600 C and that's 4 times the heat into target vs BBQ lighter. It all works out to be 50 times and 10 times more effective at lighting a fire than with a match or BBQ lighter.

Ordered mine from Temu but doesn’t screw onto my butane can it ignites and works fine if I hold it on you’re not very mobile tho 😂.. You would think Temu would come up with some type of an adapter but not holding my breath nor any hopes for any royalties if they should use my idea 😂😂
