It's hard to find any vids on this one.. What's the knob on the back for, to adjust the gass?Gass?? Be nice to see. Notes on Amazon say it has a bigger, strong flame looks good to me.
They're actually pretty safe, but dangerous in the hands of someone not knowing what they're doing. For example - lighting it with your fingers directly in the path of where the flame is going to be instantly once its lit. Sure, understandable if you've never used one before, but... not understandable for someone who's made instructional videos on basically, at least functionally, the exact same device before.
@@mrcloud9750 never heard of that happening - ever. As a career firefighter, and having a degree in Fire Science, I've sat through more than my fair share of classes relating to fire behavior, as well as explosions resulting from flammable gasses. The two main purposes of our gas meters are to search for, aside from the type of gas, is how close they are to their upper & lower explosive limits, or UEL & LEL. Even if somehow you were to get inside the can and caused a spark - there would be no explosion - not enough oxygen. I would say get a flame inside the can, but that would be impossible - again, not enough oxygen for even a flame. As far as I'm aware of there's two ways the can would explode. Either exposed to extreme heat causing the gas inside to expand beyond the cans ability to continue to contain the gas, or a catastrophic failure of the can. I'm unsure what you're implying that the torch is doing, or could do, to the can to cause a catastrophic failure, but it's beyond my imagination.
@@mrcloud9750 I apologize if I don't understand your point fully, parts can be viewed as the can and the torch, or as the individual components of the torch. Either way, looking at it mechanically, I can't see how the torch could possibly cause a catastrophic failure in the can, and if you're about the individual parts of the torch perhaps breaking, or being faulty, perhaps that could cause a leak, or loose control of the control knob, but even if that happened it should just burn uncontrollably until empty. I cannot imagine anything other than over heating the can, or catastrophic failure, causing an actual explosion.
What gas bottle type are you using?

@@MJLiptak if you get a faulty one the whole can will explode and you wont survive so it is more dangerous just use a regular torch

@@MJLiptak i just said faulty pieces could cause an explosion if the torch is on and ignited
