He was already the GOAT before RG2023 for most tennis fans (because he already holds most other important records) but the debate ended for good after this Roland. Anything he did later (Wimbledon final, Cincinnati, US Open, ATP Finals) was bonus. And Ruud was no joke on the other side of the net. Look how easily he dismantled Rune in Quarter and Zverev in Semi. He absolutely destroyed them. Bagelling Zverev like this shows how in form he was. He is already a solid top-5 on clay but in this tournament he was playing the best tennis of his life, much better than in RG2022. To beat him in straight-set like this in such an important final shows how strong Djokovic was. His level in the tie-break, first games of the 2nd set and last 3 games of the match was amazing!!
